If you get an ocean view room, then this is a great place to stay. Otherwise be prepared for a nice motel but it's not an Inn or bed and breakfast. I'm not sure why it's listed this way on Trip Advisor. Outside is pretty run down. The positives are the beautiful view and path down to ocean! The rooms... More

Room size ok, bed was good, everything clean but carpet. Where the ice machine is located was very dirty and smelled. Was told breakfast would be at 7am. Was not ready tell after 7:30. We had to be at jet boats by 8am. We had to eat else where. They forgot to clean our room. We had to request clean... More

After hours on the road we stopped in Gold Beach. At check in Steve (i believe his name was) was decently hospitable. Ladies in the office were very stressed. Stay was on July 3rd. There was wine for sale in the lobby. Room was 168$ (which I was okay with it was on the beach and a holiday weekend). Cons:... More

Our first room the shower didn't even work. The ceiling looked like it was ready to fall on us and the breakfast wasn't even ready . They had to switch our room because of the shower not working. The second room was better and we did have a balcony and a nice view of the beach. They definately to up... More

Gold Beach should be ashamed of allowing a place like this to actually charge tourists the rates they charge. The room had a foul odour that would not dissipate. Truly people avoid at all costs....IT WAS FERAL!

By far the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. If you have a choice between sleeping at the hotel, or in your car - save your money and sleep in your car. Room smelled like cat pee, and it looked like it was last cleaned during the Clinton administration.

Four years since our last stay we returned to the formerly lovely Beachcomber property for another dose of luxury and fun. Upon check-in we noted the same nice touches as before, quality wines for sale in the lobby, an extensive movie library, nicely appointed rooms with wonderful king beds and luxury linens. Unfortunately what couldn't be overlooked was the general... More

I stopped here on an overnighter from Portland to SF. It looked respectable enough on the website, and I wanted an ocean view (the Oregon Coast is spectacular). The view and the staff were relatively nice, but the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. They bill these as “luxury” bungalow suites – to call this false advertising would... More

The staff was rude, the room had 3 burned out lightbulbs, the room was old and creepy, the furnishings, mirror were damaged and ugly. I came to my non-smoking room/motel to find marijuana and cigarette smoke billowing in the hallway and, in particular, into my room. I notified the motel staff twice before they spoke to the smokers. The motel... More

The views are very beautiful, beach access is great! The rooms are updated a bit, but still need some updating. Our Jacuzzi tub's jets did not function properly, and the balcony was not that "private", but was still a good time. We had a broken chair on our balcony and staff was prompt in addressing the issue. Some neighboring rooms... More
