Great place to stay as a stopover on trips up the Coast of Oregon. According to staff, this Motel 6 was formerly another chain and the rooms are larger than most Motel 6s, some even having a microwave and fridge. Otherwise the usual bare bones with no coffee maker, hair dryer or other extra frills but the price is excellent... more

had stay here roughly 8yrs ago it was really in great shape. not now it needs paint and a good cleaning, beds were sunk it. we were near the very small jacussi which looked murkey. it closes at 10pm. we didnt try it. as we arrived late and got a smoking room all that was left. we cant reccommed this... more

Just returned from 2 week driving holiday in Washington, Oregon and California. The Gold Beach Resort is our absolute favourite of the 10 or so places we stayed at. Large rooms, new furniture, all rooms have private balconies facing on to a gorgeous beach, microwave and fridge in the rooms. Very quiet - couldn't hear other rooms or the highway.... more
