The room was small but adequate with a queen bed, small table and chairs, dresser, flat screen TV, and microwave/fridge. No coffee maker, but there is great coffee at Gold Beach Books right next door. Very quiet. Can't beat the price.

Visited the Wild Chinook Inn November 23, 2014. It is a great motel for those on a tight budget and where clean is very important. The rooms remind me of small B&Bs I stayed in during my travels in England; clean and modest with friendly service. Each room has flat screen TV with Cable, small frig, microwave and free wifi.... Great service, clean room. Beats the price of the chain motel in town. Would stay again if I visited in the future.wifi works great! Access to local venues is very convenient. Parking is a breeze. Still has a wall phone!

This is pretty much an average older motel, just off the hwy. The room was large although the bathroom and shower were very small. It was clean. The bed, listed as new, was not comfortable although it was a foam mattress type and perhaps one needs to get "used to" it. There was a nice large flat screen TV, a... More

We ended up spending 2 nights at the Wild Chinook Inn - because it fit our needs so perfectly. Upon our late check-in, the Manager was friendly and helpful - and advised us of the local establishments within walking distance. This hotel is off on a side road a bit away from Hwy 101 hence the quiet ambiance. Our room... More

I spent one night at the Wild Chinook Inn, and was very pleased for several reasons. First, the room was clean and odor free. Abundant hot water with good pressure. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent: back from the highway and therefore quiet, restaurant and bar next door, and easy walking distance to the entire downtown... More

We stayed only one night, as we were traveling home from a San Francisco Convention. The manager offered to let us view the room, before we booked. He was pleasant, the room was nicely appointed, and spotlessly clean. The bed was most comfortable and the linens were fresh. The price (winter rates) was very reasonable. The place is one block... I spent one night in the Wild Chinook and was quite pleased. It was clean and sheets were comfortable. The towels could use a bit o' love, but overall it was fine. Coffee is in the office bright and early but there is no pot in the room. The flatscreen TV is huge considering the room isn't. ;) I felt... More

Room was small and quite cramped. Reception clerk (who was apparently also the manager) seemed apologetic about the quality of the accommodation, particularly about her bed linens being old and due to be replaced, but we found the bed linen to be quite acceptable. The manager assured us the room would be clean, and it was. Cost of the room... More

We reserved our room 3 weeks in advance. Got there shortly after check in time. Room wasn't ready, they said 10 minutes. We came back 20 minutes later, room still wasn't ready, left went back a 3rd time, still not ready, door haning open, bed unmade. Went to the desk and had to complain, the clerk went to make the...
