Although the proprietors are very nice and helpful, it really can't make up for the fact that the inn is really in need of a makeover. But then again, you get what you pay for. It was inexpensive, and that's why I have Ann average rating, not poor. The A Frame cabin had no heat, and just a thin fleece-like... More

This clean motel is in a quiet location and provided us with a great place to stay near Crater Lake. Our family of 5 was comfortable in their family suite, which included a microwave and a refrigerator. The office has games, and there is a swing and a tetherball court, making it a fun place for a family overnight.

Enjoyed the stay on my adventure a cross the state of Oregon. Nice little road side hotel just about 30 minutes south of Creator Lake. Aspen Inn friendly owner and staff was a joy to be around in a very clean setting.

We stayed there after being at Crater Lake for the day. It was like a little apartment instead of a hotel room! It was very clean and everyone was super friendly! I liked the country setting. We got the info we needed to go eat a good supper that night. There are limited restaurants around, but they arent terribly far... More

Like many national parks, Crater Lake is a bit isolated. There are limited places to stay nearby. This hotel is a good option south of the park. The room was very comfy--even if the TV only got one channel!--and the people were very nice. Good coffee in the morning and reasonably priced snacks. There are not a lot of restaurants... More

We spent just one night in one of the A-frame cabins and we absolutely enjoyed it. The cabins were equipped with everything you might need and were clean and comfortable. Heidi is a perfect host and we were very glad to meet her and her friendly dog. She helped us with advices for dinner and breakfast options and even equipped... More

Weren't sure what to expect, but we really liked Aspen Inn. Heidi was the friendlies innkeeper and even brought me a "glass" wineglass!!! Too funny! Thanks Heidi.......the Inn in close to the entrance of Crater Lake. You may want to take food or pick something up before getting to Fort Klamath area tho because there is VERY LITTLE close by.... Most friendly staff ever and very clean and comfortable. The owners went above and beyond to be kind and accommodating, even giving us a ride when we were desperate. We highly recommend this motel. A good place for families or couples with pets. Our dog Oscar loved it here and was even given his own care basket. The wood river... More

We have stayed in a number of places though the years because, they were the closers we could find to a national park. Typically, we would arrive with very low expectations and still be disappointed. The Aspen Inn finally broke that losing streak. It is not The Ritz. Do not expect it to be. It is a simple country hotel.... More

Quiet, beautifully landscaped, immaculately clean, comfortable beds, dog friendly. The only thing missing was breakfast. We stayed in one of the newly remodeled motel rooms. The little A Frames looked adorable tho. The owner, Heidi is a sweetheart, and made us feel so welcome. Easy drive from Crater Lake. Great price too!!
