More 3.5 than 4. Fort Klamath is the closest place to stay unless you want to pay the prices to stay in the park itself. I saw the "customer service" comment, I didn't have that problem at all, they were nothing but nice and accommodating. Jo's is a cheaper alternative and yes it is kinda bare bones but it's a... Located about 30 miles from Crater Lake. Very basic room - a step back in time! Warning - no restaurants or gas within about 20 miles! Only six rooms or so and you must check in during limited hours. Price was good - bed was comfortable. Nothing fancy about the place - but a decent place to crash for a... More

Very clean and comfortable place. The grocery that is attached is wonderful and makes it convenient, as there is not much around in the way of restaurants. The people who own Jo's are WONDERFUL. Very sweet and eager to accommodate you. I left feeling like I had new friends. The surrounding area is beautiful as well. Step into a postcard... More

My Son and soon to be wife booked this location for her to stay the night before their wedding. Needless to say with the traffic due to the park fires and the lack of cell service to be able to call and let them know they would be late it became a disaster. She arrived and wasn't allowed to check... More

We had booked a room here and were excited to spend the night after driving all day on our roadtrip. It was a long day, with heavy rain and heavy traffic, and we had no cell phone service pretty much the entire day. By the time we were able to call Jo's it was already 8:15pm, past their 8pm check-in... More

On the plus side, Jo's is cute and well kept up. There is an area in the back along the river where you can have a picnic. On the minus side, you do not want to stay here on a hot day. The outside temperature was 97 when we arrived. It was quite hot in the room. A large box... More

I was excited about the possibility of a unique stay during our move from Boise to Monterey. I booked two months ahead and informed the owner that we have a cat. She replied that she would check with her partner, also the head of housekeeping, as to whether or not a cat would be allowed in the cabin, it would... More

Stayed here 1 night with another couple we were traveling. Charming place with very friendly owners. They seemed to really be into organic food which they sell in a small store attached to the office. They even gave us some organic coffee to make in our room although the coffee pot was not big enough for us. They also offer... More

Healthy organic food, friendly owners, great place for a picnic, would recommend to anyone in the area. Beats any of the food options in Klamath Falls, in my opinion. I have not spent the night here but love to eat lunch there when I'm in the area.

My family stayed here for what originally was going to be 3 nights but we ended up leaving on day 2. Beds were not fantastic but not horrible either. My brother and his girlfriend stayed in a different room than us and had a pretty major mosquito swarm in their room. His girlfiend who is very dark skinned and asked... More
