Staff is friendly and the rooms are nice as most if not all face the beach with balcony's. Property has a pool but I did not use it. but... Wifi is woefully lacking and cell service is barely there. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

This is by far the best hotel in the Florence area. It is away from town, which is good! It is also the only oceanfront hotel in the area. Lots of parking for trailers or RVs. We brought out ATVs for the dunes!! Very nice restaurant and bar onsite, so you can "dine in"!

Florence is a good spot from which to explore the region and this Inn is an adequate place to stay if you can't find anywhere else but the rooms are on the dank and dingy side of acceptable. For the limited time we were in the room we dragged the chairs and table right to the window and kept the... More

We stayed here for a few days and they gave us the 4th floor at a much higher price and I have to say they should not have rented out this room. The tub had 3 very large sections where it looked like paint peeling off of a wall, this was on the rounded part of the tub and after... More

The room was not worth the price at all. You are ONLY paying for the ocean view. The only 'updates' made to the rooms are new bedding and sliding doors... which were under construction in the rooms surrounding. Cleanliness was okay. Towels are somewhat spooky and you can HEAR everything in the rooms surrounding. Was a true treat to hear... More

We were very happy with our stay at Driftwood Shores Inn. The only regret we have is not staying there longer. Pros: 1. Great locations - easy to find and close to nearby attractions. 2. Free parking and big parking lot. 3. Full kitchen in the room with full size appliances and well stacked with utensils, dishes, soaps and towels.... More

We have stayed at several other places in Florence, but this was our first visit to Driftwood Shores. First impressions: outstanding ocean views and very clean & tidy room. We were on the ground floor and were literally steps from the beach. What a treat! In the past, we had to drive, find public parking, and trek across sand dunes... More

It is just so nice to be able to sit and watch the ocean and today was special as the whales were coming back from Baja en route to Alaska. They were so close to the beach. We saw them breaching and spouting everywhere from our table. Oh I forgot.....breakfast was not bad either. The staff are always very courteous... More

We rented the 3 bed/ 2 bath suite. The room has been recently updated with flat screen tv's, granite counter tops. The bed was very comfy and the sheets were excellent. We have stayed here for years and have always been happy. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The pool, hot tub and kiddy pool were great. The view... More
