The Inn is on the river and well done. The decorating is well themed and implemented. Landscaping is nicely maintained. We had a double queen room and enjoyed watching folks floating down the using a variety of craft (thanks to Hugo for fixing our patio door). Some highway noise. We had dinner at Sweetwaters - I had salmon and my... More

When we booked the room we asked for a crib or pack and play for our child. We checked in at 4pm and asked the man at the desk if one could be sent up, at 7pm I called down asking when it would be arriving. I called again at 8:30pm and it wasn't till 9:15pm that it was delivered.... More

I came across the Valley River Inn in a Google Search for pet friendly hotels in the area. We stay frequently as our son is a student at UO. Beautiful location, nice facility, friendly staff. Room quality is very good, room was clean and spacious. Public areas are nice and open. The one recommendation for improvement is the breakfast buffet,... More

This hotel is right on the Willamette river, and in-house restaurant, Sweet Waters, overlooks the river and offers very good food. The hotel itself is just above average, with rooms that have flat screen TVs but not much else to praise them for. The popcorn ceilings add to the somewhat dated feel. But the staff is very nice and the... More

I stayed here for the first time mid September 2014. Very impressed with the property and the lounge area. Great food. Great prices. Great view of the river. I visit Eugene usually once per month for business and this is my new favorite hotel. Keep up the good work staff and management!

Pros 1 - Very friendly front desk personnel and very responsive to requests. 2 - Location along the beautiful Willamette River 3 - The rooms are large and spacious and come with a Keurig coffee maker Cons 1- The lobby and hallways smell musty. A little fresh scent, febreeze, etc, would go a long ways. 2 - The rooms do... More

This place is great! I recently hosted a seminar here and the people were all a great help! Janna Daharsh who help set up the room was such a great help as I kept changing the room set up to see what would work best. She was with me the entire time and made these changes very easy.

I personally wouldn't pay more than 90 bucks to stay at this hotel... The beds were not that comfortable, rooms are dated... It's just like an average hotel. I would give it a 2.5 star rating instead of 3. You can get a cheaper price on Priceline. Book through there.

It was my boyfriend Fred's birthday, so I decided to book a surprise night at the Valley River Inn in honor of his birthday. We live in the area, but staying there made his birthday extra special. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and spa. We loved having breakfast in their restaurant Sweet Waters. The food was great and the service... More

We stayed here while we were in town for my mother's funeral. The hotel has a nice location along the Willamette river with a walking/biking path out the front door of the hotel. It is close to Autzen Stadium for football fans and the Valley River Center for shoppers. However I expect more from a $200 a night hotel. Our... More
