We stayed at the New Oregon Best Western for over a week. Our room was comfortable and clean, and reasonably quiet. I would have preferred brighter lighting, but no other negative comments about our room's appointments. One odd thing, though: I found a candy wrapper for a Kit Kat bar hidden behind the spare roll of toilet paper in our... More

The hotel is right across the street from the University of Oregon so we were able to walk the campus, and then go to dinner just a few blocks away next to the university. It was also easy to find off of the I5 highway. The rooms are clean and the air conditioning worked well. The breakfast is typical bland... More

The room was terribly small and cramped. Lighting was terrible and the only mirrors were one in the bathroom and on the single closet door. It truly was just a place to crash. The saving grace of this hotel is the swimming pool which is open until midnight. The water is warm and it is in a covered room with... More

The word 'new' is a misnomer. It is very old and when I asked about that misleading web mention, the front desk said 'well we remodeled two years ago'. The carpets were very dirty, the room smelled like a cheap perfume...had to open the window the entire time, which, by the way, didn't look out over a creek, it was... More

I think everyone has their bad motel experiences as I read the other reviews for this location. But in our case the room, pool, Jacuzzi, and the breakfast service was fine. The front office staff was always friendly and we seldom waited very long for assistance. Our room was clean all the facilities worked with no leaks. The pool was... More

We had opportunity to stay in Eugene on a Sunday night, and found that many of the hotels had no vacancy due to a couple big events at the University. I do not know how we got lucky here, but we did. The location is nice, close to the university, there is a public transportation stop in front, a number... More

This room was spotless and the beds were comfortable, but the room was too small for two queen size beds. There was only room for one easy chair and the desk chair. The third or fourth person would have had to sit on the bed. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure for the shower was very good, but... More

We saw the big billboards for this hotel & thought hey it's new, we'll stay there instead of the Green Tree just down the street, so we pulled in & asked to see a king room. The lady sent us to room 120, the entire floor to the bed squeaked, and there was a significant slope to the bathroom, we... More

I had left some business expense receipts neatly on the desk which got thrown. Also a couple of high end magazines went missing from the night stand. I stayed here four nights. One of the mornings the breakfast room was closed because no one had a key. Really?
