Would not have opted for this Motel if everything else had not been booked or had triple digit rates during this very busy Grad week. Was not looking forward to my stay. Zach at the front counter impressed me from the start with his professionalism and customer service Next impression was the cleanliness and UPKEEP of this older property. The... More

Yes it was adequate, Check in: cheery and efficient Room 116, good size, bathroom behind bedroom, so good separation, comfy beds, fridge, mwave, large TV, AC noisy but a consistent noise which blocked everything else out except overhead moving around but this was not a disturbance. Coffee maker and the usual toileteries. Wifi for us was limited. Yes room was... More

I must admit - I got totally suckered into reserving this place and paying 30% more than the going rate for the motels in the area due to the promise of wooden floors and great reviews. Hardwood floors in a motel room - how cool would that be! Sorry to inform you - didn't happen for us. And it didn't... More

We were looking for a cheap but clean hotel in downtown Eugene & we found it! No frills but convenient to downtown, farmer's market & the U of O. Nice staff & very clean & quiet. King bed w/ nice closet space & bath. 2 queens are available as option. Continental breakfast included w/ coffee & pastries but we did... More

I usually stay at hotels rather than motels and I I was a little nervous to stay in a place at this price point. But I was very pleasantly surprised. Our room was modern, spacious, really clean, and comfortable. It was equally as nice as other places I've stayed that cost a lot more. The grounds were nicely landscaped. The... More

We stay in Eugene at least twice a year on roadtrips and have been looking for our "go to" place. This is it! Both young men at the desk (at check in and check out) were very pleasant, polite and helpful. We were upgraded to a King room (thank you!) which was spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved having the fridge... More

Perhaps expectations were too high after reading many of the reviews of The Timbers. While not expecting luxury it was disappointing to encounter a sagging mattress, non-functioning wi-fi, uneven water temperature, depressing lighting and a room that was hard to cool down. Not all was bad. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Location is awesome if you... More

I was impressed by the size and cleanliness of my king room. I was also impressed with the hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling, microwave, fridge and HBO. The bathroom area was huge, making for plenty of room to spread out. The shower had plenty of pressure and the water temp was good. Towels were soft and thirsty. The continental breakfast was... We arrived at Timbers pretty late while driving on a road trip. Front desk was incredibly polite, and check in was nice and quick. We fell asleep immediately from being exhausted, I was so happy that the beds were comfortable. The rooms were a bit dark, but it wasn't too much of a bother since we were just there to sleep.... I stayed at the Timbers last week on a last minute indefinite stay trip. They had to move me to a different room mid-week,, but were very accommodating about it. I agree with other reviewers here: the rooms do not have any overhead lights, so lighting is limited to desk lamps and indirect lighting, leaving the rooms fairly dark at... More
