$79 for the night and well worth it. The room was clean and the bath had been recently retiled. Other pluses: in room coffee, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, large flat screen TV. One block away is Ambrosia ,one of my favorite Eugene restaurants. The motel is an easy walk to other downtown restaurants. Close to the U of... More

This is an older hotel but many rooms have been remodeled (as for one). The location is walking distance to restaurants and the college. Despite being across the street from the Greyhound bus station there was very minimal street noise. The bathroom was large, the TV was good, the WiFi was OK and the A/C was pretty good. The mattresses... More

Booked two rooms here while visiting the University of Oregon in July. It's an older hotel located across from the Greyhound Bus Station. It's clean and one of our rooms appeared to have had the bathroom recently refurbished. The other room had an older bathroom. Both rooms were clean and we had no issues with the facilities, beds or linens.... More

Conveniently located in downtown Eugene, this smallish motel is pristine vintage including the highly polished hardwood floors. Stash your stuff and go walking around interesting downtown- antique shops, boutiques, restaurants and much more. The service was excellent and, yes, JFK slept there.

'Stranded' in Eugene for two extra nights due to car trouble. Was thankful to find the Timbers had rooms, due to it being summer, a weekend, and the Rod Stewart/Santana show was in town, so most places were sold out. Given these circumstances, I know I overpaid, but this motel was VERY clean and the staff are so friendly. I... More

Nice older hotel in the downtown area. Very comfortable bed, flat screen tv. Thick soft towels. QUIET. I was worried that being right in town that there would be more outside noise. Nope, had a great nights sleep. Only con is the breakfast offered. Very little to choose from. Muffins, bananas, bagel juice and coffee/tea. Thought maybe oatmeal, waffles, something hot.

After spending 5 days on the Oregon coast relying on trip advisor to find decent accommodations at a discount price, Timbers Motel was the jackpot!! Great location (we walked to the University of Oregon campus-my husband's dream), good size room that looked like it was recently updated (including the bathroom) and very comfy beds. I would recommend this motel to... More

Conveniently located, Timbers offers clean spacious rooms at excellent prices. The building seems a bit older, and this isn't a fancy place, but the rooms have been nicely updated -- ours had a hardwood floor, which complemented the beams in the ceiling. Our king size bed was extremely comfortable. If I were returning to Eugene, Timbers is where I would... More

Stayed here for one night the first night of our road trip to Reno. Room was very comfortable and updated. Quiet, air conditioned room and within walking distance to downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night on a road trip up to Seattle and really enjoyed our stay. Lovely room with character - not just your standard motel room. There were renovations happening either adjacent or below which caused a bit of noise disruption but that didn't bother us too much! The guy at reception was so friendly and helpful -... More
