This is one of the coolest, nicest places I've ever had the pleasure to stay! To say the house is gorgeous is an understatement. It is positively magical! The innkeepers did not skimp on any detail when they restored this place. Everything, down to the door hinges, is authentic and either beautifully restored, or is a high quality replica. The... More

My new wife and I discovered the C'est La Vie Inn through some of my co-workers and thought about reserving the Casablanca Suite for the night of our wedding in mid-July in Eugene. When I phoned and spoke with Jack, he suggested we come and check the place out before we confirmed any details. During our visit, we talked about... More

My wife and I stayed there during the Eugene Marathon because it got such great reviews and it truly lived up to its name. Jack was a great innkeeper and did a great job playing host to everyone. The breakfast was great and the staff accommodated my wife's specific dietary requests. The inn itself was beautiful and the garden was... More

What a gem! Wonderful host and beautiful inn. You'll never see a Victorian in this kind of restored (better than new) shape. Exquisite attention to detail, this really is a labor of love which the owners are kind enough to share. Don't compare it to hotels or other experiences. We enjoyed sharing breakfast with the other guests and highly recommend... More

This inn is tucked away in a neighborhood with a beautiful garden. The inn keepers have created a beautiful experience inside and out. They are very attentive to their guest. They have thought of every detail. The only downside for us was that the bed was super soft and uncomfortable. We will try a different room on our next visit.

This is the most elegant, well appointed and well organized bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in -- but don't think that means overly formal or stiff, not at all. Owner Jack was a charming and fun host, even firing up the outdoor G-gauge railroad although none of the guests that day had kids. Jack is an avid gardner... More

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this lovely B and B. The grounds and decor are beautiful, and our room "Gauguin" was inviting and comfortable after a long day of driving. After sleeping more soundly than I had in months, breakfast was delicious, the company was delightful, and we regretted planning to stay only one night. The... More

My mother came to visit me and instead of having her stay at my apartment with my 3 stinky roommates, I booked a room at this gorgeous B&B as a surprise. The Inn Keepers were wonderfully accommodating and helped execute my plan perfectly. My mother was completely surprised and astounded at the beauty of this house. The entire place is... More

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Did I say wonderful? This cute french style home located in Eugene, OR was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The couple that run the place have everything decorated perfectly. The room was HUGE and felt like home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room was very modern but with an old world flare... This is a very nice B&B with a very friendly inn keepers who will make you feel at home. The gardens are some of the nicest you will ever see and the rooms are finely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and as a coffe snob I will give Cest la Vie a passing grade. My only complaint about the B&B is... More
