Booked well in advance due to busy UO dorm move-in week. Arrived late in the evening and without GPS, wouldn't have found the property. Be sure to call for directions. Suite was so-so. Living area very boring, stuffy, and sleeper sofa worn and uncomfortable for son. Wi-fi very inconsistent. The worst thing about the room--and guests beware--the bathroom fan is... more

We loved the location best of all. Such a pretty setting by the river with walking paths and lawns. McMennamins Restaurant is a short walk, and that made a great pairing for our one night stay. I thought the room was nice and clean, bed comfortable and staff polite. We will return next year for three or four nights. more

When booking make sure there's not a concert in the local park unless you want to wait till 10 pm to sleep. The afternoon desk clerk seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else and was indifferent. In the morning I discovered there was a large amount of car vandalism in the area and they were not immune the night... more

This was our first trip traveling with our dog and our cat as we were moving our daughter to Washington from California. I was dreading all of us staying overnight in one hotel room. After a long day on the road, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was - inviting lobby with complimentary bottled water and cookies... more

We loved the La Quinta in Eugene, it was very clean and the personnel were great. It appears to be recently renovated. It is adjacent to a city park with walking and biking paths. It is close to the OU stadium and several good restaurants were within walking distance. Overall it was the best hotel on our Oregon trip. 4... more

I understand that during the time we stayed here there were college kids going back to school but that also shouldn't have affected the way the lady and counter was acting towards us. It was a clean & nice hotel but I won't stay there again because the price was high even for September. The WaterFront Grill was steps away.... more

We have stayed here in the past, 2002 and 2003, and always came away with positive feelings. On the most recent visit, on two consecutive weekends, there were definite signs of decreased service and maintenance. The good: the location near Alton Baker Park, which affords many miles of walking and running trails. The location is handy to our daughter and... more

For the past 10 years I drive I5 from California to Washington at least once a year. Eugene is my favorite city to overnight. After a disappointing experience at the Best Western (I love walking my dog down by the river) the past 3 years, each year, vowing to find another place to overnight (cleanliness was less so each year)... more
