This is a tired property that needs some revamping. Pros: excellent location -- close to campus, performing arts center, and downtown; excellent jacuzzi and exercise room (precor and weights); bicycle rentals; excellent business frequent traveller complimentary breakfast on 10th floor. Cons: swimming pool is in claustrophobic basement and by 9 pm most of the swim towels are gone; frequent train... more

The location is excellent. We enjoyed visiting the fun and lively farmer's market just around the corner and being able to walk to restaurants from the hotel. The room itself is what you likely expect from the Hilton chain - my favorite part was truly good in-room coffee! The night we arrived the check-in clerk was so friendly and welcoming.... more

Nice central location, pleasant check in. Bed a bit whimpy for being billed as deluxe-although the linens were nice. Shower tile in need of grout cleaning and lack of water pressure disappointing. Only 2 towels for 2 people and only 1 mint left for bedtime. Deluxe it is not but "just fine" for a night. To have to pay extra... more

Hotel has a spacious lobby with an attractive restaurant and seperate bar. The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. Excellent in room coffee. Rate was very reasonable for a hotel of this standard. Able to accomodate business functions without undermining quality of the individual stay. more

I was disappointed with this Hilton. The room had a stuffy smell and was very noisy. My room was near the elevator. Big mistake. I awoke to running, screaming, children in the hallway and playing with the elevators. The front desk staff had a laissez faire attitude about the noise when I complained about it. To add insult to injury,... more

Came up for Duck Days--college visit for our daughter, stayed 3 nites, 11th floor, and i was really impressed with the breakfast choices--waffles, eggs, fruit, etc, and the employee-Jeff, i think that is his name, was the kind of employee that i'd love to have working for me...courteous, was constantly hustling to ensure all guests had what they wanted, cleaned... more

Eugene's a small college town so the Hilton is relatively easy to find. AAA guide says $9 for parking per night but I guess with this economic downturn they let the parking attendant go so there is no charge at this time. Parking is underground and could use more lighting. Only stayed in Eugene overnight (to visit friends) as we... more

We were driving across Oregon on a sight seeing trip and stopped in Eugene on the way. The Hilton seemed to be the best choice in town. The property has been updated. It was clean. Our room was fine, and the bed was comfortable. We did hear the train regularly but it wasn't that bad. There was a charge for... more

The hotel is very centrally located in downtown Eugene. Now, I do have to preface this review with the fact that I'm Hhonors Gold and got upgraded to a Jr. Suite. The hotel is in the process of a major renovation. Most of that work is complete - the only thing still needing work is the elevators and the lobby... more

A nice 3 star hotel. Room is not big but clean. Fancy flat TV. Kids can play games on TV. Can hear train passing by in the middle of night. That's the reason ear plugs are provided no free internet which is supposed to have with 3 star hotel. more
