There is a lot of very negative reviews on here about the Eugene Hilton and I'm not sure where they are coming from. I have been stayed at this hotel for the last 8 weeks and had nothing but great experiences. The staff is excellent (kudos to Allie, Tia, Loren at the front desk and Mary at the bar)... The... more

We recently stayed at the Hilton Eugene. I have mixed feelings. I would not stay here again because I am not willing to spend the extra money for just the Hilton name. The location was great - right downtown so we could walk everywhere - except that it is in a very noisy area and the windows are not sound-proof!... more

The problems started on arrival. As a Hilton Honors member we listed as our preference as upper floor away from elevator. We got a lower floor room right next to the elevator and across from the ice machine. The rooms have been renovated since our last stay. Breakfast was a disaster--the buffet was poorly stocked and poor in quality and... more

We stayed for just one night at the Hilton Eugene. Although very small, the room was clean with modern decor, and the beds were comfortable. There are train tracks nearby with trains traveling through at all hours of the night, blowing their horns as they pass. The hotel does provide ear plugs, but who can sleep with those in? My... more

We stayed here on our trip from seattle to SF bay area. Very comfortable stay after 8 hrs of driving. good A/C. comfy beds, lots of restaurants in walking distance. parking under hotel but charge is 10 dollars a night. Cons: bath mat for bathtub, a little slippery otherwise, more

This is a tired property that needs some revamping. Pros: excellent location -- close to campus, performing arts center, and downtown; excellent jacuzzi and exercise room (precor and weights); bicycle rentals; excellent business frequent traveller complimentary breakfast on 10th floor. Cons: swimming pool is in claustrophobic basement and by 9 pm most of the swim towels are gone; frequent train... more

The location is excellent. We enjoyed visiting the fun and lively farmer's market just around the corner and being able to walk to restaurants from the hotel. The room itself is what you likely expect from the Hilton chain - my favorite part was truly good in-room coffee! The night we arrived the check-in clerk was so friendly and welcoming.... more
