We spent 4 nights here while we did daily cycling trips in the area. The motel is average. It is clean but the rooms are very dated, the carpet in need of replacement and the air conditioner was erratic. The room was fairly inexpensive so we can't complain. I wish the Best Western on the hill just outside of town... More

Nice little motel in a small town. Rooms were comfortable but nothing special. The staff was one of the friendliest and was very helpful will any requests. Only negative is that there is no WiFi. I you are ever in Enterprise or traveling though stay here.

This was our first time staying in Enterprise and a local had recommended the Ponderosa. The Motel has a cool rustic look on the outside, and perfect decor on the inside, it wasn't overdone, I didn't feel like I was in a cabin and yet the pictures told of the local beauty and they had beautiful lodgepole headboards. The room... More

We stayed here just a week ago, and it was a very good place to stay. The rates were very reasonable, the room was updated and clean, the bed was comfortable. It's located near the center of this small town, and just a block away from the local bakery. We were there mid-week and during off-season, so town wasn't crowded.... More

This is a fine motel. Enterprise, OR is off the beaten path, so we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the accommodations. The room was nice, the price was reasonable, and the staff provided a good restaurant recommendation. We would stay here again.

Now that the Best Western in Enterprise is closed, this may be the best option for affordable winter lodging in the Wallowa Valley. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the location is walking distance to nearly all restaurants in Enterprise (a few extra blocks to the brewery). It is also centrally located for all the... More

We travel to Enterprise for business often and always try to stay at the Ponderosa for the location, price, and stability of knowing what to expect. It is under new management and from what we experienced the Change has been transparent for the guest. We will return.

We visit Enterprise every September. We ALWAYS stay at the Ponderosa. Rooms are clean, it is centrally located in downtown and just off the main street. It is very quiet and everything works well such as the bathroom and heater and air conditioner. The beds are just right. Did I mention how clean it is? I have seen many managers... More

Halfway through a 700 mile Harley ride through Hell's Canyon. Tried to stay in Joseph but that motel did not accept AMEX. So I called the Ponderosa and am so glad I did. Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet, restful. They even had rags and cleaning solution so we could wipe down the bikes. No breakfast but a coffee maker (and... More

We stayed two nights at the Ponderosa over the 4th of July weekend. The service was wonderful. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I was worried it would be noisy as the motel was full and we were by a staircase to the top floor, but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. The bed was a bit hard for... More
