I had a pleasant state at the Ponderosa, Comfortable room that was clean. I liked that they stocked an extra blanket in the room especially since I was there on a stormy October night. The motel is in the downtown near the courthouse, making it an effortless walk to it and shops. They have a nice bookstore near the courthouse... More

We rented three double rooms for six in our motorcycle group. Charming western motifs, LCD TV, frig and microwave. Comfortable beds. Located in beautiful downtown Enterprise, 1-2 block walk to restaurants, bars, farmers market. Park right in front of your room. No breakfast served, but go to Red a Rooster for the best breakfast in town. Go to Thai Enterprise... More

Charming motel. After a night at the "Country Inn" down the road, it seemed like luxury. The room was clean and comfortable (and has a fridge for your Terminal Gravity leftovers!) I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Enterprise!

Enterprise and the Ponderosa Motel are a great base from which to explore the spectacular Wallowa Valley. The motel is very clean and cozy, though I will not give it a five star rating until they replace the beds which can be uneven. It is not as sound proof as it should be but that is not an issue if... Check in was easy and painless. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable. I really enjoyed that the A/C was controlled by a thermostat on the wall and that the A/C was duct-ed into the room and not up into the window. Refrigerator and microwave were nice. Enjoyed the sink outside the bathroom. The outside of the motel was... More

We travel to Enterprise on our motorcycles at least once a year. We have always stayed at the Ponderosa unless we made a mistake by not making a reservation or not arriving in time to get a room. It is a very biker friendly motel and we probably enjoy the parking lot "get togethers" as much as anything at night... More

The Ponderosa Motel has been a regular destination of ours over 5 years of motorcycle touring in the area. It always provides the best sleep, super clean and they give us a bag of clean rags to wash our bikes. It is that kind of continued consideration that makes this our favourite place to stay each year. Keep up the... More

Great location and very spacious room. The staff was wonderful and you couldn't get a cleaner room. Our only negative comment is the bed was terrible. The staff said new beds are on order. I told them they need to post that when they arrive. We left one day early because we couldn't take the bed another night.

Were greeted warmly by the front desk at check-in. When asked about restaurants in town to eat at had good advice and copies of menus. Room was "spot-on" clean and nice. Great value for the price. If in the area again would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I love to travel in Central & Eastern Oregon. We live in Portland but our hearts are to the east. One of our favorite spots is the Wallowa valley in Northeastern Oregon. We go to bird, camp, and just drive around seeing the sights. We usually go in winter for birding, but spring, summer and fall, also... More
