I highly recommend this Inn if you are planning on a stay in Oregon Wine Country Pros 1. Rooms are very comfortable, well decorated, and air conditioned. Our Verbena Suite was one of the smaller ones but had plenty of room and opened on to a beautiful garden space 2. Breakfast was delicious. We had the oatmeal on the 1st... More

A beautiful B & B located amongst several acres of vineyards. We stayed in the Master Suite and it was beyond comfortable. The view is stunning, the bed is very comfortable, the shower is strong, and the towels are fluffy. The staff makes every effort to make sure you want for nothing. They are very accommodating to requests. If you... More

From the minute we first saw the inn as we drove up the drive till we stopped in the beautiful courtyard we knew we were in for a treat! WOW! Perched on top of the highest point in the area with 50 mile views of the surrounding farms and vinyards, we had arrived! Inside was just as impressive, with a... More

Everything about the inn was great including the hosts who were very welcoming and hosted an amazing breakfast every morning. The Tuscan style buildings set on top of a hill in a vineyard were as ideal as they look in pictures. We stayed in the Classic suite which had direct access to a great veranda with fantastic views of the... More

We arrived here on Monday night and just fell in love! We stayed in the L'Amour room and it was fantastic. The views were incredible. Each morning we woke up looking out upon the vineyard and landscape. You truly feel like you are in Tuscany not Oregon. Neal was quite friendly and chatted with us about the vineyard on several... The l'Amour Suite does continue to wow even after seeing it for the eleven years we have been open. We are glad you had the opportunity to stay there and enjoy that view of our vineyard and the valley below. We hope to see you again! More

We stayed 2 weeks ago, with another couple traveling with us, and we both thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and amenities of the hilltop Black Walnut Inn. Not your typical B&B by any means, but more like a small inn you'd find in Europe. Proprietors, the Utz's and staff (Emily) were just perfect - helpful and attentive, but not too hovering... More

The grounds are as scenic as you will find in the wine country, stunning views. The owners are charming, down to earth and fun to chat with. The breakfast is first rate as is the staff serving it. We stayed an evening in the Vista Room. A very nice room though the bathroom is set up for handicap access making... More

We are pleased you would come back to our inn even though you found our Vista Suite's bathroom not your style. We always encourage our perspective guests to check out our individual accommodations on our website where we have photos of our suites including the bathrooms and the view. Each of the nine suites is unique in style and amenities... More

Have stayed at the Black Walnut on two separate occasions and can't wait to return. You can expect your hosts to cater to every request (reasonable or unreasonable), arrange for vineyard tours at "private" operations and make excellent recommendations. This, on top of, providing wonderful meals and an ideal setting to relax. Do yourself a favor and hop a plane... More

We just spent 2 nights in this fabulous villa-like inn. Our room ( Rapture ) had a comfortable king size bed and large marble and tile bathroom ( with separate shower ). Our balcony faced East with beautiful views of the vineyard and surrounding hills...plus snow covered Mt. Hood in the distance. Breakfast is delicious.....waffles, pancakes, frittatas, fruit, cereal, home... More

If you want to experience Tuscany in the US, then head for The Blackwalnut Inn & Vineyard, Dundee, OR in the heart of Oregon's Pinot country. The view from our room/patio was as close to a Tuscan view (except for the snow capped mountains). Great staff.
