This spot is a perfect little getaway spot. These rooms are super cute, the jetted tube is awesome, and the fireplace is just perfect. For right at $100 a night this is a great value. The grocery store next door, has a everything you might need. There are two "OK" resturants nearby. The only complaints are the fan is loud... More

Stayed one night, off off season, to break up a very long drive. A log cabin kind of theme, nicely done. The room we were in had a gas fireplace and large flatscreen TV. The property was within walking distance of everything in town. The room was clean and the owner very friendly/helpful. The only thing that sucked was their... More

My wife and I were on a long motorcycle trip and we stopped here for the night. It was such a beautiful place in such a small town. All the rooms are ground floor, which is nice. The staff was really friendly and nice and offered the use of the hose to wash our motorcycles off after a dusty ride.... More

After hours of searching for the elusive hot springs, we snacked on a bunch of cheese bites as Dave's old man Subaru glided through patches of fog on an endless road through the forest. The fog cleared and we found ourselves in Detroit! My car is a champ, not an old man. Enough about my awesome car. The room was... More

We stayed here for one night in order to make an early morning start on a nearby backpacking trip and found it beyond expectations. Everything is new and nicely done with tile, granite and knotty pine décor in the small but cute rooms. The space is well used, including high ceilings which make the rooms more comfortable, new log beds... More

Spent two nights at the Lodge. Had family camping at the Detroit Lake campground, but not being campers, we opted for the lodge. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of space to park. The only drawback was the folks in the room next door that partied until about 2 a.m. and the walls were... More

We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and new this motel was. We had a gas fireplace, a brand new bath, charming western theme furnishings, and a comfortable bed. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. We would recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend. The good: Clean nice rooms, good TV and programming, GREAT bathroom, nice beds, and we could even bring our little furry friend. Friendly staff that even brought us some charcoal lighter fluid when we needed it. Very close to everything including the marina we used to rent a boat. The not... More

I am tempted to tell you that this is a horrible place, mean staff, bed of nails to sleep on, that's if you can sleep with all the loud music, people wandering from room to room....Just one big party. Oh, and the sheriff has been here time and time again! NOT A CHANCE!!! The staff is helpful, courteous and so... More
