We enjoyed our stay at The Lodge. The rooms are small and have some unconventional features, but are overall comfortable. The heat source for our room was an propane fireplace which didn't heat the space very well and was noisy, but was aesthetically nice. The tile floor was cold and stayed cold long after our room heated up. The bed... More

First off, I'm not sure what the previous post was referring to as we had a complete opposite experience. The Lodge at Detroit Lake is managed by the sweetest couple ever! They provided exceptional service for our every need and were super friendly throughout our entire stay. We also brought our two doggies with us and they were so welcoming... More

I loved this place! I stayed two nights. The service is OUTSTANDING! It is run by a husband and wife team - Jay and Brandy, who are so nice and hospitable. The room was a lovely, cozy haven. It has undergone renovations under Jay and Brandy's management. The upgrades are impressive. It had a flat screen TV with 500 premium... More

Stayed at this motel as we wondered through Oregon on a 12 day car trip. Not sure how we ended up in this town as it is quite literally in the middle of nowhere but picturesque and peaceful. Our little room had very rustic décor with a fireplace and was very clean. The room itself was very small and the... More

We stayed in room #6. Quaint and perfect for a single or a couple. Queen bed, gas fireplace, flatscreen TV mounted on wall. Cozy accommodations. Remodeled unit with a lodge feeling. Definitely would recommend if you're passing through the area. Young couple at front desk checked us in and were very pleasant and accommodating.

We stayed here to be close to Detroit lake. The front counter lady, Eillene, was super friendly and even upgraded us to a nicer room. Room #5 is a great cabin style with a loft that was adventurous for our son. We'll come again.

A group of us rented several of the cabin-type rooms at the Lodge at Detroit Lake. As a group we had a couple of requests and Elaine from the registration desk went over-the-top in finding solutions for us. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. Totally an enjoyable experience. Would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.
