Beautiful location, Great springs. Administratively, a nightmare to make a group reservation. I started in November of 2014 trying to make a group reservation for March of 2015. They do not offer online reservations. I wanted to bring my family 4 friends. It took 5 phone calls and 5 e-mails to navigate their archaic reservation process and abusive rules system... More

After a simple wedding we spent two magical nights at Breitenbush in one of the plumbed cabins. The cabin has one double and one twin bed, a desk, two chairs, a cabinet, toilet and sink. The bed was comfortable and the cabin super-cozy. We loved the radiator heat that kept the cabin comfortable and dried our towels between dips. Our... More

My wife and I went to breitenbush for celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. It's a unique place for a number of reasons which I will list below. 1. Organic vegetarian food. This is the best and tastiest organic vegetarian full meals I have ever had in continental USA. During our stay we had two lunches and two dinners and every... More

Stayed one night at Breitenbush with my love and had an amazing time! There is nothing to do but relax and enjoy yourself...and isn't that wonderful?!! The landscape is beautiful, the food is delicious and the hot springs are divine. Suggested attire for the rainy season is water shoes and a big fluffy robe topped with a rain coat. You... More

I had a great time at Breitenbush. The food was yummy, the hot springs delightful and the river chilly. I have a gift certificate if anyone is interested. Let me know ASAP. $365 value will let go for $300

If you enjoy alternative retreats, this is a wonderful spot, but it's probably not for everybody. We've been to similar retreat centres and even so, we needed to adjust our expectations a little on arrival. Once we did, we were in heaven! The pros: the hot springs themselves. This is the main event, and honestly, they are fabulous. There's more... More

I was given a gift certificate as a gift ($248.00 value), and looked forward to staying here. The website requests guest arrive prior to 10 pm....we were there by 920 pm and arrived to a closed gate with a sign stating they would reopen at 900 am. After a 3 hour drive, this was really disappointing. No reply from the... More

My husband LOVES hot water, as do I, so when we were planning a two-week vacation to Oregon, we naturally investigated the options for soaking in some hot springs. We found that many of them are not very accessible, and I was hoping for an experience with facilities rather than a hike-in situation. After some research, he suggested we stay... More

I loved Breitenbush. A very conscious community and getaway, this place is gorgeous with trees, natural hot springs, rivers with plenty of swimming holes, yoga, chi gong and educational programs. The food is delicious and organic (all vegetarian, bring your own caffeine), and the hiking trails are spectacular and well maintained. I loved the cabins too!

My partner and I spent a few nights at Breteinbush last summer. The cabins are spartan but the property is amazing. The warm springs are fantastic. One night we stayed in the silent pool at sunset until nightfall listening to nature. This was a magical experience. The no alcohol policy on the property is a way to ensure that guests... More
