The Inn is nice, but the resturant needs better trained servers, chilled salad and dressings.). Our server was working on a large group and the younger woman steppted into the big breach (she got an extra tip too. I had green salad two times in our four day stay and both times it was not chilled, along with the dressing.... more

There were two of us in the party.....both senior citizens....was a wonderful weekend spent at the Surfrider in Depoe Bay. This was our first time staying with them and we truly enjoyed our accomodations, the food, the weather and most of all the views from our room and the restuarant. We had been planning a weekend at the coast for... more

We recently stayed here for a short weekend getaway and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very nice and spacious. We stayed in a king deluxe which had a fireplace, whirlpool and kitchenette (just a microwave & sink). They also provided dishes and utensils to use - even a corkscrew. What a nice thought. Our room was #69. It... more

16 years ago we stayed at the Surfrider Resort on our first trip to Oregon. When we decided to revisit the Oregon Coast for our 26th wedding anniversary, we decided to spend it at the Surfrider. It did not disappoint. The view from our room was spectacular, even spotted a whale. The room we got, one with a fireplace, kitchen... more

I have stayed at this resort at least four times. The Surfrider is one of my favorite spots on the Oregon coast. The views are amazing, the rooms are nice and cozy. I really love sitting by the gas fireplace with the window open so I can hear the ocean. I also love how there is "private" beach access. The... more

Rented the two bedroom, two bath suite (Room 21) in first building, upstairs Friday and Saturday night. One of the more expensive rooms; but the furniture was dinged up and OLD. Bedrooms are near the parking lot/walkway not near the ocean so could not enjoy the sounds and view of the sea while in the bedroom. Housekeeping staff were wonderful... more

Room 21 was clean and a good value, but not what we expected. The view to the ocean is wonderful, and the beach is so interesting with the lava flows and fossils, but the room needs upgraded!! The rooms were clean but old-fashioned looking. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable, however it was nice to have a living room... more

We booked a bungalow. It was more like an old motel. The paneling is rotting on the walls. It smelled musty. There is poor ventilation. If you pull the heavy drapes open to get air in through the windows then everyone who walks by can look into your room. We were told it had an ocean view. There was a... more

We stayed just one night but really enjoyed it. The view from our balcony was great. Two rooms share one balcony, but no one stayed in the room next to us so we had the balcony to ourselves. The beach was beautiful and just steps down from the rooms. We ate at the restaurant there for dinner and breakfast and... more

I chose the Surfrider because my lady friend and I wanted an ocean view motel near Depoe Bay on our annual trip to the Oregon Coast. Picked this one because of some good reviews, their excellent web site and the desire to try a new motel. We discovered that one of the things we really liked was leaving the window... more
