Rented the two bedroom, two bath suite (Room 21) in first building, upstairs Friday and Saturday night. One of the more expensive rooms; but the furniture was dinged up and OLD. Bedrooms are near the parking lot/walkway not near the ocean so could not enjoy the sounds and view of the sea while in the bedroom. Housekeeping staff were wonderful... more

Room 21 was clean and a good value, but not what we expected. The view to the ocean is wonderful, and the beach is so interesting with the lava flows and fossils, but the room needs upgraded!! We booked a bungalow. It was more like an old motel. The paneling is rotting on the walls. It smelled musty. There is poor ventilation.
