We knew the room would be somewhat dated-looking from past visits. BUT...it's to the point now where I can no longer look past the dark dated wood style, etc. First started staying at the Inn in 1986 and it was dated then but we always looked at the positives. What made this visit our last to the Inn was the... more

Location and views are excellent. Close to numerous beach accesses and viewpoints. The heated outdoor pool and play area kept the kids entertained. Overall, it was quiet although we stayed here during the week in early June so it did not seem very crowded. Condo units are old but well maintained. Onsite staff are friendly and helpful. Distance of the... more

First of all, when I booked this reservation I was not aware it was a Vacation Rental Property....I try to avoid these type of places as the standards are usually lower then an established chain Hotel/Motel. The ownership or management company typically cut corners in services and the little extras, so to increase the profit margins for the property owners....thats... more

I have read the reviews about the Inn at Otter Crest and to be sure, I read them before me and three others purchased a unit there on March 26th, 2009. We also reviewed the history with regard to the old property management company. GOOD NEWS! A new property management company has taken over (Ocean Shores) and they have been... more

I have to tell you I'm quite surprised at the negative reviews on this place....My husband and I had an excellent time here and had a fantastic room - one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on - very updated room - modern and new furniture - beautiful view of the ocean - We didn't swim in the... more

I had the pleasure of staying in a friend's condo here and it was wonderful! Superb view, great surroundings. The Hotel has closed, so the condo owners here (all privately owned) will be utilizing the services of a new, local agent to rent them out as vacation rentals, rather than a Hotel. The website should be showing the new situation... more

They have stopped taking any reservations. Evidently they have new management and they are unsure if they are ever opening for public bookings again. Too bad, because this is a remote and unique place to stay. Otter Rock (the nearby village) is tiny and scenic with nothing much more than Mo's Chowder and a winery/gift shop. I really hope Otter... more

The 70's were a really long time ago if that were all that was wrong we could have dealt with it. However the room was filthy the bathroom inparticular. Somones dog apparently chewed the end of the bed the decor was more like someones yard sale left overs. When I let them know I didn't even get an acknowledgement they... more

This stay was supposed to be our last hurrah on a 6 day, girls only coastal trip. We stayed in a cottage 2 nights, a cabin one night and a yurt one night. We intended to relax, wine, dine and hot tub. On our arrival the property grounds and approach to the facility were very impressive, beautiful. At our check... more

After reading some of the negative reviews here, I was a bit concerned when my significant other booked our stay here. I can tell you that it's a great place to spend a few days. The rooms are hit or miss, as they are individual condos, but our room was fine, if a bit outdated. It was certainly clean and... more
