After years of seeing beautiful hot tub scenes overlooking the Pacific in Sunset magazine, we had an opportunity to experience the Channel House during a recent trip to the West Coast for a family reunion. Most of the TripAdvisor reviews were very positive and we looked forward to our visit. Our initial impression with the Admiral Suite was fantastic. The... more

We love this property! We have stayed in the Admiral's Suite and loved it everytime. Excellent friendly service by staff...wonderful morning breakfast and a guaranteed good time. Close to local restaurants and Gracie's Sea Hag where even if you are over 50 you feel comfortable sitting down for a drink. The property is first rate and we enjoyed watching the... more

We long anticipated the opportunity to stay at the Channel House, and it was one incredible view of the ocean, and channel into Depoe Bay. We were able to lie in bed and watch whales feeding off shore. An important feature of these rooms, like many quality getaways is the hot tub. The hot tubs are located out on the... more

We called ahead after reading about this Inn in the Select Registry. I called, wanting to know about availability and he said they had two rooms available. In looking online I could tell some suites seemed to offer the Jacuzzi tub on the deck, and other ones it appeared to have a plastic shield around the tub, possibly inside. I... more

This inn is absolutely beautiful! Right on the rocky shores of the Oregon Coast. It is situated at the inlet to the tiny marina at Depoe Bay. Most rooms have a private hot tub overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Bring a bottle of Oregon wine (which they do have available for purchase), your love and enjoy the ambience. Be sure to... more

Wonderful location, attentive -- but not overwhelming -- service. Very private room with secluded deck and jacuzzi -- clothing optional was ideal for us! We sat in the jacuzzi on our isolated deck and watched a storm lash the Pacific into a frenzy, warm and comfortable at every moment. Great rooms, comfortable bed, copious hot water (in the shower --... more

The Channel House is an amazing, beautiful Inn with clean, nicely decorated rooms, and the best, friendliest staff anywhere! The scenery is breathtaking, and once you walk in the front door true/total relaxation sets in! I will always love and cherish memories of my times at the Channel House! I can't wait to go back! =) Laura Bennett more

Channel House Inn is a good choice if you want to sit on the deck watching the surf crashing on the rocks below. the Jacuzzi tub is also nice but you can read all the pluses on their website. Here are the tidbits that you may want to know about the place before you decide: Suite #8, The Channel Watch,... more

My husband and I stayed at the Channel Inn for one night during our trek down the Oregon Coast and were pretty disappointed. The view of the channel and ocean is incredible but somewhat marred by lights and utility wires, and the inn is right next to the road. For $300/night we expected something really special, and the room was... more

We spent two nights at the Channel House inn last week. It was everything the web site said it would be. We booked a midweek special and stayed in the Admiral Suite. Very private and romantic. The view was worth every cent! The bed was comfortable. It was very clean. Breakfast was yummy! One morning there was bread pudding (amongst... more
