Channel House Inn is a good choice if you want to sit on the deck watching the surf crashing on the rocks below. the Jacuzzi tub is also nice but you can read all the pluses on their website. Here are the tidbits that you may want to know about the place before you decide: Suite #8, The Channel Watch,... more

My husband and I stayed at the Channel Inn for one night during our trek down the Oregon Coast and were pretty disappointed. The view of the channel and ocean is incredible but somewhat marred by lights and utility wires, and the inn is right next to the road. For $300/night we expected something really special, and the room was... more

We spent two nights at the Channel House inn last week. It was everything the web site said it would be. We booked a midweek special and stayed in the Admiral Suite. Very private and romantic. The view was worth every cent! The bed was comfortable. It was very clean. Breakfast was yummy! One morning there was bread pudding (amongst... more

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful. The rooms are clean and spacious, have tempur-pedic beds, a gas fireplace and an unparalleled view! The gigantic jetted-tub on the deck/patio is decadent. Fill it to the top with fresh, hot water (as opposed to shared, chlorinated water in a typical jacuzzi) and enjoy the sunset... more

My husband & I stayed here for our anniversary and loved it. I recommend asking which rooms have private decks and tubs. Some of the rooms seemed to have decks & tubs that were visible from other rooms. We stayed in the Whale Watch room and loved the fact that it feels like you are practically in the ocean. When... more

We stayed here for 2 nights on 8/6/07. This place is in an excellent location, right on the water at the entrance to probably the smallest and most accessible harbor on the coast. This little town has very little, if any, nightlife, if that's issue for you. No beach here, but a chance to view the ocean up close and... more

After having read many positive reviews of this B&B my wife and I decided to stay there while touring through Oregon in June 07. We were very pleased to find the room and hotel met all of our expectations. We booked the Swiftsure room and found it wonderfully appointed with many special touches not seen in higher end hotels. While... more

We stayed in room #1 (the Admiral's Suite) as part of our honeymoon on the Oregon coast. The draw of this hotel is undoubtedly the location and view. We had a panoramic view of the channel and the ocean. The windows throughout the room are huge and viewing the ocean was wonderful. We LOVED sitting in the hot tub and... more

My wife and I stayed there this summer for 3 days on our honeymoon trip in the Pacific Northwest. We stayed in "the captain quarters" and it was definitely a great experience. Everything is small. But it is a nice and cosy small. It is expensive so we thought it could be bigger at first but the place is so... more

A fantastic getaway - the most romantic place we've ever stayed. Location is fantastic, and the rooms are top notch. While it is pricey, I have to say that it was worth every penny. This isnt you're average run of the mill hotel - if you're looking for a quick place to lay your head, this probably isnt it...it's a... more
