We stayed here as part of our visit to Crater Lake. After driving past several other motels, I started to get nervous about what this place would be like. Fear not! Yes, it's a hunting lodge, but one decorated by a woman (I'm sure of it!). Everything (everything) is hunting related; I'm a vegetarian, and was not offended, so take... more

I stayed there last week for one night. The room was very clean and well equipped with wi-fi, fridge, micro, and nice little extras like paper towels and salt/pepper. As noted by a previous poster, the room was decorated to the max with bears, wolves, elk, etc. including a translucent toilet seat embedded with colorful fishing lures. Unlike the earlier... more

There was a family emergency so my sister and I needed a place to stay, we called ahead of time to book a room. It turns out that the owner will not rent rooms to people under 21, when in fact it says nothing about this in the web site. The woman was rude to me, even hanging up on... more

The Good - The owner is wonderful! She is so friendly & helpful. I came into town with a sinus infection & she gave my aunt directions to get to the nearest pharmacy (17 miles north in La Pine). She also asked the next morning how I was doing & gave her information about an immediate care center & hospital... more

Sorry to rain on the parade, but we stayed one night. The good: nice size room, kitchenette with only coffee cups/coffee maker, flat screen t.v., comfortable bed. My problem? I will spare the details about what was on the disgusting bedspread which made my skin crawl before going to sleep. No excuse for that. If they had provided a clean... more

This was our first hotel stay at the start of a two week family road-trip vacation (2 adults, 2 kids). To say we wish that the rest of our hotels were as well appointed, comfortable and reasonably priced would be an understatement! We found this hotel by reading the reivews here on TripAdvisor.com. After reading the positive reviews we thought... more

Great overnight stop in eastern Oregon. Just north of Crater Lake. Recently remodeled, friendly staff. Several nice little places to eat quite close. Not a destination but just great for a very nice overnight stop. more

My husband and I stayed for one night in August while visiting Crater Lake. We had gone to see the park on Sunday, but the weather was cold, rainy and the clouds prevented us from seeing the lake. The Woodsman Inn was a cozy little refuge form the weather. We stayed in the room with the kingsize bed, fireplace and... more

I stayed at this motel the day I visited Crater Lake. It's about 40 miles from the North entrance to the park. Unless you stay at the park, it's one of the first places you can stay within a reasonable distance from the park. First, the property is well maintained and clean. It's an older property, one level, that has... more

We almost missed staying at this wonderful place. Glad we changed our minds. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever had at a motel. T he rooms are beautifully decorated in a woodsy motif down to the smallest detail. Nice leather love seat. pine furniture, large tv.........very clean, very comfortable, very nice BUT do not go to the... more
