I disagree completely with the reviews that say the owners are unfriendly. My wife and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago on our visit to Crater Lake and had a wonderful time. The owners were hospitable and friendly to us. The room was very clean and well maintained, spacious, and very comfortable. Our room (#8) was decorated in... More

Very comfy beds, not a lot of room left in the rooms because of all the furnishings but I'm not complaining. Decorated in over the top late Cabela's. And I mean every detail you can think of down to the pinecone shower curtain rings and clear toilet seat embedded with fishing lures!

Though I've stayed at the Woodsman Motel several times since 1991, even before the present owners, I'm sure this was my last! The rooms are very clean and the wildlife motif make for a pleasant comfortable room in a country setting except for all the signs placed everywhere saying don't do this & don't do that and how much it... The worst customer service I have ever experienced. It's time to sell your property and retire from the "hospitality" industry (I use that term loosely). After reading the lengthy, and oddly detailed, positive reviews I would bet my years' salary the owner wrote many of them. Really? Juniper furniture? Your average guest doesn't know these details. Take the positive reviews... More

My wife and I have never stayed in a hotel quite like this before and hope never to again. In our opinion some of the comments that were made by the lady that checked us in ( We think was the owner ) was rude and should never been asked or even been said at all.I have never seen so... More

I am so excited to have the honor of being able to write about this motel. I have stayed in lots of motels in my life but this is the BEST one yet. My daughter and I stayed here while I was speaking at the Lions Club. The lady in the office was so sweet and very helpful. The outside... More

My wife and I were traveling to Reno from Portland to enjoy a long awaited vacation. It was getting late when we pulled into the very empty parking lot. We got off of our Harley Davidson and went inside to get a room. Unbeknownst to us at the time, we had entered the office of a discriminatory business. We were... More

Arrived on my 20,000 dollar BMW Motorcycle the evening of Oct 3rd looking for a room. Vacancy sign on, three cars in parking lot, open curtains looking into to empty rooms. Before I could even get my helmet off, a very rude lady opened the door and said, " I have nothing available for you". I replied "Seriously" and she... More

Three old guys on motorcycles, very tired in need of a bed.... Was met by a lady saying loudly we don't have any rooms for you...two cars in parking lot and the vacancy light on.... Hope you all do not stay here unless you hate bikers too, then you'll have lots in common with the owners....

Beautiful accommodations, BUT! Our group was really looking forward to staying here for one night as we passed through. Apparently we were welcome as long as we didn't have pets and didn't ride in on dirt bikes. Yes we were as puzzled until we checked in. Do not disregard the numerous signs of what you can and can't do in... More
