This place and their staff continue to be the best value of all our holiday stops. We have stayed there multiple times over the past 5 years and always have a great experience. The rooms are quaint, clean and functional. The dining room is excellent and the lounge is a great place to relax, in front of the fireplace, at... More

I stayed here for 2 nights with Travelzoo voucher. It was incredibly nice deal with 2 entrees and wine. The staffs were very friendly and the room was very cozy. The garden was well kept, I hope I can visit when there are more flowers.

Ask for the deluxe room by booking direct. The room has a fireplace and private garden patio. The dinner package is a minor charge that comes with a bottle of wine and drinks inthe lounge as well as a continentalbreakfast. Our dinner was excellent and we enjoyed sitting in the lounge listening to the evening's singer.

To start: This is not a Best Western kind of stop. It says resort, but it's a kind of hotel/B&B hybrid. Whatever it is, we love it! Upgrading rooms, but for now, the deluxe upgrade is worth it. Below that, and you might as well stay in a Motel 6; cheaper. We usually get the dinner package; also worth it.... More

Listened to reviews and paid extra for upgraded room. Probably wise! It was comfortable except for the chairs. Too early to appreciate the gardens. Continental breakfast was miserly, but dinner was good. Enjoyed lounge entertainers one evening. Wouldn't pay full price for this property, but it was good value on a discounted package.

We arrived and were greeted by 'Dorian" a very helpful and friendly young lady. Our room (#812) had two comfortable queen size beds, refrigerator, microwave, a small patio at the back, T.V and double sink in the bathroom. Very clean and well appointed. The place was very quiet at night and the surrounding garden was pleasant although needed a bit... More

This Moonstone property is located in about 14 acres of lovely, mature gardens, and is relatively quiet despite an adjacent freeway. The architecture is quite remarkable 1970's rough wood modern. The rooms are well-maintained, and very clean, with a few period fixtures still in place. (The design is almost exactly that of the historic Rickeys Hyatt House motel in Palo... More

When you drive to your room, it looks like a deserted movie set, it is so run down! We did the spring package which gave a dinner credit and an continental breakfast, breakfast was not too bad, but the room we had, pet friendly, left much to be desired. I realize it is a pet room but was horrified to... More

Hi Calequestrian13, Thank you for visiting - we are so glad to hear you enjoyed the gardens. The Village Green is a historic hotel and we are in the midst of remodeling. You may have noticed the look and feel of our main lobby - that same ambiance has been incorporated into our updated rooms, which we call deluxe rooms.... More

This spacious resort was constructed about 50 years ago by a local timber baron. It may have been too large a project for that time, but the southern end of the Willamette Valley has become much more interesting to out-of-town visitors. There are now festivals, wineries, forests, historic sites, and more interesting place to eat. Moonstone Resorts has assumed control... More

Great location. The grounds are extensive - To get thier full effect you should go during the summer. The restuarant was excellent. The free meals included in our package was really very good - prime rib and corn beef and cabbabe ( it was St Patric's Day). The free bottle of wine was very good - Baringers White Zinvendel. The...
