We stayed here for a weekend getaway. This was my first experience at a bed and breakfast and I expected what most would...excellent breakfast and relaxing bedroom area. We got both...and more. Each morning's breakfast was made from scratch, yummm. The bedrooms were comfortable and the large one with the private bath has a gas fireplace and great view out... More

Disgusting place, falsely advertised. No disclosure about animals on property. We were unable to sleep due to air quality, had the Heebie Jeebies from the mix mash of, please forgive me, smells reminiscent of your grandpa the flea market a garage sale and animals. The carpet was indescribably gross, dank, and nothing was clean. Bare cheapo bulk toilet paper sat... More

The owners hosted my family event at their beautiful and charming B&B this summer and were far and away the most warm, welcoming, accommodating, and friendly staff anyone could ever have. I LOVED this place for the combination of the view (!!!!), the friendliness of the staff, and the charm and beauty of the house and landscaping. They have a... More

Brickhaven seems to have a history of allowing you to make a reservation, charging you for the reservation and then a few days before you are supposed to stay there letting you know that they had overbooked. This happened to me -- they were not particularly apologetic, were not helpful in finding accommodations elsewhere and had to be reminded several... More

Very cool house originally built by two artists with recycled materials back in the 60's. Nice view of the Columbia Gorge and very quiet. Owners very nice and good breakfast. Very flexible regarding breakfast times. Beds are a little hard but otherwise good stay. If you are looking for a place to eat dinner, have them make a reservation at... More

Phyllis and Ed make you feel that you are old friends immediately. The house is interesting to say the least, and Phyllis made us one of the best breakfasts we have had in 20 years of B&Bing. The location is great, just a few minutes drive from the Vista House and all of the waterfalls. I just wish we had... More

Lately we've been to some "bed and breakfast" which doesn't quite stand up to the traditional bed and breakfast experience. This gem of a place has it all... Located right in the middle of the Columbia river gorge scenic drive on old hwy 30 where all of the major water falls are located including the famous Multnomah falls. The location cannot... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Brickhaven B&B situated in a great position to see the beautiful Colombia River Gorge. The house is rather interesting and Phyllis and Ed go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Comfortable bed and amenities and a delicious Gluten free breakfast supplied on request. We enjoyed this spot so much... More
