Booked our room on price line. The lady who checked us in was great and even upgraded us for free. Rooms were super clean. The restaurant was not so great but its decent hotel food. The shower has a great shower head and water is nice and hot!

We went there for an anniversary trip. We picked this hotel because it advertised having a hot tub (no mention was made of it being seasonal) so it was quite disappointing that the hot tub was closed. But then other things kept adding up.....there was a poster of activities in town in the lobby. Being from out of town, we... More

The Red Lion Hotel is an OK stay if you find yourself needing a hotel in Coos Bay. It is set back off of the main street, so it is very quiet, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was good. The only negative thing for us was that during our stay the weather was warm... More

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was very nice. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The morning breakfast was excellent!! The con we experience was there was hair in the shower and a dirty face towel.

We drove to Coos Bay to do some clamming and took our dogs with us, thinking we'd have to risk leaving them locked in the car while we dug clams. But unlike most hotels, the Red Lion lets you leave your pet in the room--in a pet carrier or cage--while you are out and about. Wow. What an enlightened policy.... More

Our room was well back from the highway and very quiet. The room was large and clean. There was only on stuffed chair and since we were staying 4 nights we requested an other. When we got back to our room, they had brought us one. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good. The only complaint I... More

Haven't stayed at the Red Lion in Coos Bay for many years. It's a little aged, but the prices are fabulous, the included breakfast is quite good. The dining room is quite decent. Check in/out staff are very friendly and attentive. The reservation process ( from a central location 800 number ) is excellent. Everything in our room worked and... More

The hotel was quiet and pretty empty. The exterior was outdated, as was the TV in the room, but our room decor had been recently redone. I paid $5 more per night to have the larger room which was very spacious and worth the extra $. I'd say good hotel for the cost. We ate at the hotel restaurant. We... More

We were at this hotel while visiting family in the bay area. The hotel was one of the nicer places i have stayed when visiting Coos Bay. The breakfast was good and the staff was great both in the restaurant and at the front desk. The breakfast was a buffet style which worked great for my family. We would have... More

We've stayed at this hotel a few times. The room was cleanest we'd slept in on our trip, best customer service, and great rates for the pets. The room had no perfumes or cigarette smells and that was so nice for me. Red Lion is conveniently located on Hwy. 101, but the rooms are set back far enough that their... More
