Many good things to say: Huge room. Very friendly staff. Free bottle of water at check in if you are a Red Lion rewards member. Good curtains that keep all the light out. Mostly clean, new air conditioner filter which shows me they do pay attention to details. Good ammenities like shampoo and lotion that smell good. Great pillows. I... More

Ok, so maybe I'm a tough critic. Would I stay here again? Yes, but that doesn't mean I can give it more than average. We had a notable issue that was resolved immediately to their credit. We had bouncing kids in the room above us and we were moved immediately. I am not holding this against them in my rating.... More

Just spent one night here! Rooms were large & clean! The beds were comfy & the towels were soft! The bathroom was updated with tile & was amazingly clean. We checked in late & Erica was friendly & helpful! I would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I canceled our trip to Crater Lake because they were having a blizzard (in May!) so we changed course and headed to the Pacific Coast. We were tired of the rain and decided to stop in Coos Bay and saw that the Red Lion had good reviews, so we stayed there overnight. The guy at the registration... More

We stayed for 4 nights over the Memorial Day weekend. We found a great rate by going to redlion.com directly and choosing the AAA rate. (Actually, the rates by going directly to their website were the lowest I found, vs. Priceline or Expedia, etc.) The room was clean, quite, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will stay... More

We travel a lot and this is a very nice stop. Clean and quiet rooms. We also love the attached restaurant, it means no more driving. We don't do casinos but we saw lots of people hopping on the shuttle bus. We will stay here again.

There are not a lot of choices to stay in coos bay that are reasonable priced and not scary looking, so we picked the Red Lion. From the outside it is dated, but the room was large and very nice, and the beds were comfortable. There was a cigarette butt in the toilet the first day and a few water... More

The Red Lion Coos Bay was one of our stops for one night as we drove from Seattle to LA. I just chose it as a stopping point, so we did not drive more than 4-5 hours a day. I think it's safe to say we should have stopped earlier or kept driving!! It's a motel style, mostly single story,... More

Booked our room on price line. The lady who checked us in was great and even upgraded us for free. Rooms were super clean. The restaurant was not so great but its decent hotel food. The shower has a great shower head and water is nice and hot!
