The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. I think the only negative would be that unless you have a room in the middle of the hotel you probably won't sleep well, because its in the middle of a busy street and you hear traffic all day and night. Another thing, they... More

Room was clean and very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. The breakfast was had a very good breakfast selection and the food I eat was very tasty. The shower head in the bathroom spun around which was a nice addition. My favorite thing was the bed. It was so comfortable.

We stayed two nights at the Coos Bay Best Western. We enjoyed our stay here. It's right on Hwy. 101 and was a bit noisy but it really didn't bother us. The room was smaller and darker than others we've been in but it was spotlessly clean. The staff were great and the housekeeping staff checked in with us the... More

As newbies to Coos Bay, we drove right past the hotel before figuring out we'd done so. We were looking for a quiet, peaceful hotel close to the ocean, and this one is on a busy road near the highly-developed waterfront. Nonetheless, once we adjusted our expectations about the location, we enjoyed the hotel a lot. Yes, a little bit... More

Spouse & I stayed one night on our way home. Problems: Our room had no writing pad/pen or body lotion. 2nd floor is accessible only by steep exterior steps, a concern for people of a certain age who use a cane (no other room was available for us). Breakfast was inadequate--no bacon, dry/tasteless potatoes, flour tortillas with no accompaniments, no... More

The strong points for this motel are central location, comfortable bed, wonderful/helpful staff and the bountiful breakfast. The down sides were: very loud road noise, old hotel room interior, lack of water pressure, no room safe, no in room fire sprinklers (maybe not required) and very tight parking spaces. I would rate this a regular Best Western and not a... More

Really, the property is just fine. Although the room was small, it was clean and had all the normal amenities. The lobby was nice and the hot breakfast in the morning was better than many others. The gal at check-in was nice and the maids we ran into in the halls were nice. Parking was tight for our truck but... More

We were surprised at the quality of this hotel for the price. We had stayed at many hotels on our trip from Virginia to Washington state. Our military family was being transferred and we were enjoying a family vacation as part of our move. This hotel was the highest cost of all our hotels, but not the best hotel that... More
