If I compare this hotel to others where I have stayed it would be on fair. This is the best coos bay has to offer in my opinion. Here we go, it is old but not rundown. The decor is outdated but looks good on the walls. The bed and furniture had some years but in great repair and the... More

I have tried several hotels in the Coos Bay, Oregon area and there isn't much to choose from. Overall I believe that the Best Western is in the top 3 places to stay. It feels safe, clean, has an indoor pool and great breakfast. I would never again stay at the Red Lion!!! (Be warned!)

If you don't mind a very small room, this hotel has newly remodeled rooms but the beds didn't get an upgrade. Although linens were nice the mattress was lumpy. I was so exhausted from traveling, I didn't mind too much and my neighbors were decent (thank God)! An older hotel with a facelift that doesn't change the fact that it's... More

While moving across the country, I ended up staying at this location over a period of a year for almost a month in total. Always found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. The building has some age but the rooms were always clean and lots of hot water, Good breakfast and an easy walk into town for other... More

Stayed here one night. Don’t have anything special to say. It is a good and decent hotel room for the money and expectation. Internet worked pretty good and staff was friendly and helpful. There is a few restaurants to choose from out of this location. We had fun in a old German lounge. Got a Stein of Bier. Strauss was... More

Centrally located in Coos Bay, this hotel is a good starting point to visit the area of Coos Bay (typical for Oregon Coast scenery). Directly situated to the main road (but still not noisy), the hotel offers decent quality for the price. Rooms are good, clean, with WIFI and parking lot in front of the rooms. Rooms are not so... The hotel was not bad, just pretty average. The staff are very friendly, and go out of their way to be helpful. The hotel itself is very dated, and is located in a noisy position right next to the highway. I consider it slightly on the high side for the value. Requested a non-smoking room, but when we checked in... More

This is a little bit of an older property with the suite doors facing the parking lot. However, they have kept up nicely with the property. Good breakfast, very nice people working the front desk. Shockingly, indoor pool!

For the price I would have expected a bit more. However, the staff are friendly, the bed was comfy and the pool was warm. It is on highway 101 so there is road noise. There is definitely a elevated level of humidity. It is nice and close to many of the local shops.
