The room was adequate...nothing fancy. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom needs updating as do the bedspreads. (Polyester..ugh). Housekeeping did a good job. Wanted a view of water but didn't see any reasonable listings with oceanview , so a view at the Edgewater was second choice. Not a bad view from 2nd floor. The employees were nice enough. No eggs or... More

The front staff were pleasant. Rooms were exceptionally clean. The view was absolutely gorgeous. Although not on the ocean, or the bay the river view was amazing. It was quiet and peaceful Cleaning staff were .pleasant. The building looks older the hall carpet was older, but I wasn't there to spend time in the hall.

After cruising through Coos Bay to select a hotel, we arrived at the Edgewater, which was well set back from the highway on the edge of the tidal river. Reception accommodated my request to see a room first since this was not a chain hotel. The young lady was somewhat abrupt, instructing me (not asking) to fill in the form,... More

Great place to stay that is nice and clean! Close to two grocery stores for snacks or anything else you need. Basic breakfast was included in our stay. I left my phone charger in the room and didn't realize it until we had checked out and left. I called and they said that they would get it for me and... More

This is a bit old, but it is nice. Upper floor balconies give a good view of river and lower rooms have a patio that has access to a paved path along the water. Nice sized rooms with a comfortable easy chair for watching the view.Beds are fine and they have real bedspreads- not those silly white sheets with a... More

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. The room was large and there was easy access to the inlet. The bathroom was worn and looked unclean - although it was clean. The front desk was not the most helpful. The breakfast was donuts or toast or oatmeal packets. Recommend getting an upstairs room as the guests above me... More

Looks more like a $49.95 room than a $90 one. I have definitely stayed in worse. My biggest disappointment is the quality vs the cost.I thought my car was going to get stuck on the huge raised spot in the parking area. Some kind of creature try to climb out of the ground?

Clean but unattractive yet enjoyed my stay. Furniture, carpet and decor looks cheap and unattractive and in some areas not that well maintained. However, the most important things were quite satisfactory. Bed was comfortable, the shower was great with ample hot water and great water pressure and volume. Staff was friendly and responsive. Originally I was only booked here the... More

We have been coming here for 15+ years. Not much has changed. Many of the reviews think it's run down. But it's not as run down as Coos Bay is. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It has an indoor pool, which is okay. The breakfast is weak, but free. The rooms could use updating, but they are clean, spacious... More

The hotel is very old. Everything inside it is very old. I didn't feel relaxed and comfortable there. The price is reasonable but it's better to pay more for another hotel. The breakfast is very limited, almost nothing to eat. The room is not awful but old and not very clean. WiFi signal was weak so I couldn't talk via... More
