Rooms were clean and comfortable but a little outdated. Balcony and view was a very nice surprise! Pool was very nice! Continental breakfast was decent with donuts from Safeway across the street. Staff was nice, maybe not as friendly as other hotels we've stayed at, but all in all it was a nice place to stay on our trip down... More

The stay here was wonderful. The whole family got to stay including the dog. The boys went fishing, my son got his first fish there. There were stores you could walk to. Wonderful doggie area. Quite and peaceful a wonderful stay for all. Breakfast also very nice to have for a family on a trip. Will for sure stay again... More

The lobby is fairly attractive in this clearly older hotel. The halls are spacious and the location of the hotel was easy to find. The staff were not overly friendly, although competent. The beds in our double queen room were less than cozy but sufficient--we did not wake up with sore backs so I would call those sufficient. The carpeting... More

Edgewater Inn in Coos Bay is in a handy spot. A Safeway supermarket is practically in the same parking lot. You can enjoy views of the river. It's a little difficult to get on the walking/biking path. It comes very near the hotel, but you have to walk about 6 blocks to get on the trail, and you have to... More

Not a fancy place, but dang nice and I can not think of anything to say that would be of a cautionary nature. I'd definitely stay here again. The water it is on the edge of is not the most scenic that you have ever seen, but they make the most of what it is.

I had not expected much when I reserved at the Edgewater Inn in Coos Bay. I had been using the AAA tour book's rating of motels to reserve and tried to get reservations at a chain brand motel we had used before but they were full. (Tip - the Oregon coast in summer is full of tourists so if you... More

We were on a road trip from California to Oregon. Thought giving this motel a try. Price was under $100 per night by the water. Room was reasonably clean and big with two huge queen sized bed. Breakfast wasn't fantastic, but that's what we expected with lower rate. Still considered a decent place for just a night sleep. Pool was... More

Staff friendly, but that is the only nice thing to say about this place! How it scored higher than Best Western on Booking.com is beyond me! ( could someone had padded the reviews for more business?) It is so bad that I felt the need to review it before we left. Saggy beds, old and dirty decor in the rooms,... More

I know this is late, but none the less, here it is. My husband and I first stayed here on our Wedding Night back in 2008. Last year (2013), we took another trip down to Oregon and stayed in the same 1 bedroom jacuzzi suite for our 5 year wedding anniversary. Oh my, how it had changed. And not for... More

This is the second time we stayed here. We got bottom floor, river view. The motel is older, but to me it seems clean. We have not had difficulties with the staff at all. The one thing i wish they had was a few more washing machines, driers. The room is locked with a certain cyber-key, which i can understand,... More
