Clean - no frills. It is right off Hwy 101 so it was a tad noisy in the morning. I wish they would put clocks in the rooms. The mattress was good. We had quite a laugh over the gaudy Motel 6 bedspread. more

We were driving cross country and stopped in Coos Bay for the night. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. The room was spacious and surprisingly clean. The outside looked like a typical Motel 6 so I was a little nervous at first. We stayed here after reading good reviews. I was very disappointed that our non-smoking room... more

I've seen decent Motel 6s and dumpy ones, and this is one of the nicer ones. My room had a king bed and was clean and seemed almost new inside, although the furnishings felt extremely cheap. Like any Motel 6, as little expense as possible was incurred in providing a basic room: no facial tissues, no shampoo, two small bars... more

After spending 2 nights at the Mill Casino Hotel in the brand new tower, our night at Motel 6 left much to be desired, but it is a clean and affordable place to stay. There are absolutely no extras and no ambience but the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room smelled like cleaning products and cigarettes even though it... more

This is your basic Motel 6. There's nothing fancy, but it was clean and seemed safe. It's easy to access as you make the trip along the coast. The walls, however, are very thin. We could hear the television set next door quite clearly. Also, we had requested a room with internet access, and although confirmed as such, the room... more

We stayed here two nights. It was well maintained -- freshly painted and updated. Very bare-bones with no real amenities. The location faces the water, but the area is a bit seedy. more

This hotel had large rooms with a very clean bathroom and extremely friendly staff. Most of the rooms are back from Hwy-101 so it is mostly quiet at night. The walls are kind of thin, though. I could hear the conversation of the two guys in the room next to me and every time anyone around me turned the water... more

Very good hotel on a stop from Seattle to San Francisco. Outside the town, on the northern enterance just up the road in the woods. Rooms decent with good showers. Have checked in around midnight; no problem. Rate around USD 80. Highly recommend for a owernight stay in that area, rather than going into town. more

My husband and I stopped here overnight after being on the road all day and sightseeing while we drove up the Oregon Coast. It was a very basic motel in the small harbor town but "basic" is all we required. Of course there were no extras like shampoo, conditioner etc. but you didn't expect that for the price we paid... more

We had a running joke while staying at this hotel... The six things that Motel 6 DOESN'T supply: 1. Shampoo 2. Conditioner 3. Electrical Outlets 4. Alarm Clock 5. Internet Access 6. Enough Towels Although we were kind of kidding when making the list, it seems like a busy and newer motel would offer at least some of the above... more
