Chose this B&B to avoid a plain motel experience, not much else available in terms of hotel genre. The property is a historical landmark, however it badly needs to be "freshened up". There are scaffolding for repainting around the property, which the owner did not mention at booking (when asking for suggestions about room choice over the phone). I chose... More

This place has been lovingly kept with all its character. Very friendly owners. Each room unique to the others. Would recomend either a couple or a group of couples to stay. It was great to learn the history of the place from the owners. Nice communal area to sit and have a drink as a group.

After two long days on the road, we treated ourselves to a 3-night stay at the Coos Bay Manor. This historic property is currently undergloing some maintenance, but nothing to interfere with one's enjoyment of this stately home and the Coos Bay area. The 1st floor common rooms and 2nd floor guest bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed in period style,... More

We had a historic group here and found the owners MORE than accomodating. Kind, human and great service. It was like having a house party at an old Victorian manse. I particularly liked that they had not renovated the charm away. If you love old buildings that are loved and living in, then you will enjoy your stay here very... More

This place has a great old time feel, it's hard not to feel like you're on vacation. The owners are very nice and have lots of recommendations on what to do/what to see when you are in town. Everything is within walking distance. A great place to stay and melt away the hustle and bustle of every day life.

I have stayed at this B&B a couple of times. The owners are very friendly and helpful with all of your requests. Located in a historical district and full of pictures from that era, I found the owners quite knowledgeable on local history. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast served in the dining room was delicious. Sitting on... More

It is a beautiful home, and the owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I lived in coos bay as a child, and came back to visit, and show my children where I grew up. the owners where very helpful in helping me remember my way around. and the food was amazing I cant say enough... Our stay at Coos Bay Manor could not have been better! It made our Anniversary getaway perfect. Delicious breakfasts and entertaining conversation if we were so inclined to hang out in the parlor. I highly recommend this B&B. Thank You Madge & Dave!

This has been my primary destination whenever I travel to Coos Bay. The location has authentic Oregon Coast charm and the rooms are very comfortable. The owners ( Madge and Dave) are very accommodating and well versed on what activities are going on in the area. I recommend all my friends and family to stay there. The breakfasts are very... More

As our 3rd time stay, the place has gone downhill after changing owners. There was no heat in the rooms. We had to drag a portable heater out of the closet, a few hours in one room, move to the other room for heat. We even mentioned it to the owner at checkin with only replying that her husband handles... More

This response came after trying to make contact with guest re: issue with NSF payment. Should a situation arise that needs addressed the owners have consistently served their guests with the utmost care. More
