This Hampton inn is a really nice hotel, but I have been to many nicer Hampton Inns. The room was spotless, however the double bed room that we had was a little on the small side. The free hot breakfast was excellent. There are many tables in the breakfast area. All the staff that we encountered were both very friendly... more

My family and I stayed at the Hampton while in the Portland area to go to OMSI, Powells books and the Rose Garden. The Hampton was everything it should be. They had our room ready and clean before 2pm. and the full hot breakfast was GREAT. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel is convenient to most Portland attractions... more

My stay was very pleasant. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and fresh. The bathroom was very clean with attention given to my comfort. Very nice to see double sheeting on the bed. The room was comfort minded, with a small fridge and a microwave. The hotel has wireless internet that works well.... more

This is an older Hampton Inn. It is OK if your expectations are not too high. The Good - Location Well lit parking Staff was nice Restaurants nearby Price was reasonable - $81p/night The Bad - Location - there is a major traffic jam during rush hour getting in and out of this hotel. MAJOR traffic jam! Noise from adjoining... more

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was typical... breads, cereals, fruit. Our room was clean and fairly new, but even though we were on a non-smoking floor, the halls had a very slight smell of humid smoke. No odors in the room. The location is borderline... but overall, we'd stay there again if passing through. more

Up-conversion continues room-by-room. 1 smoking floor, rest not. Getting near Hilton Garden Inn standards for much less $. The air conditioning was changed to new in my room while out , fixing the condition others have found. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, expanded continental breakfast, computer usage, USA TODAY, NEWSWEEK, and weeknight snacks and beverages for free were great.... more

The hotel is off the freeway and accessible to Portland by 20 minute drive. But when we got back to the hotel in the early evening, we found the experience enjoyable. Though a business hotel, it is freshly updated and the little extras (nacho chips in the lobby, cookies at arrival) made it feel cozy and comfortable. The rooms are... more

My husband & I stayed at this hotel on 7/4/06-7/05/06. We were on a driving trip up the West Coast, from San Diego to Seattle and back. This was one of our longer driving days, we were very exhausted, and it was around midnight when we checked in. We chose this hotel before our trip for basically three reasons: 1)We... more

Not a bad little hotel. One of the older Hamptons but clean and close to lots of stuff. Cathy at the front desk was just great! The breakfasts are always great! For the price it can't be beat more

We read the earlier reviews and requested a room away from the freeway. Our request was honored. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. It was inexpensive to begin with, made even more so with an AARP discount. Check-in staff was particularly welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was adequate. Hampton Inn, Clackamas made a good first impression. We would stay... more
