We were very happy with this koa. The location was centrally located and pretty clean. We stayed in a cabin with a bathroom which was convenient. As for the trains it wasn't as bad as some people said

We stayed one night in this KOA. It ended up being $58! We didn't even use sewer, just water and power. We should have just got a room at the best western in town for that price. The guy showing us to the campsite was smoking, which wasn't nice when I was carrying my one year old. The bathrooms were... More

Love it! Everyone is friendly, clean, and helpful. We love the pool and the laundry room, and the showers are clean. The train is kind of bothersome but the trick is to fall asleep in between whistles. Anyone who doesn't realize it's next to the UP tracks is in for a treat.

I found the staff to be very friendly, the restrooms clean and the showers were great. I stayed in a cabin alone as a women with her dog and felt very safe in this campground. The cabin was clean. The cabins have ceiling fans which was a good thing as I stayed there during a heat wave (in the 80's)... More

A great first experience! The hookups were easy to do. Although there were quite a few children on bikes and in the pool, it was not bothersome. The staff were great, Our campsite was clean and in a shady area. I had dreaded trying this campground as our first because of the reviews on the trains. No problem at all.... More

Good place to stay a few days while exploring all the local hiking and waterfall trails. The camp ground is a bit older and some sites are a bit narrow. The train in the night was the biggest issue for us. The tracks are right behind the campground. It was a good decent campground.

Shady sites, helpful and friendly staff, in the beautiful Columbia Gorge - my son and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Cascade Locks KOA! We knew about the trains, and quickly adapted to/embraced their passing. We biked west into town from our campsite, and enjoyed Marine Park, ice cream cones, the spectacular view from Char-Burger, and Historic Hwy 30.... More

During our 3 weeks of travelling and spending a night or two at each location, this was the worst. There was tons of room but were told to take the space next to the office, hence screaming children near the pool and playground. Pad was extremely unlevel and difficult to set up on. Also one of the most expensive nights... More

Here's a news flash... The train passes through Cascade Locks. If you decide to stay here or at Skamania Coves, you will hear the train. Get over it. I love to hike and take pictures, and this place was awesome. I visited in my 32' foot travel trailer, and I honestly didn't notice the train. I heard it once or... More

The campground is a little run down but clean. There are a set of train tracks almost through the camp ground and we knew that going in. It didn't bother my son at all but it did wake me up a few times during the night and we stayed in a one bedroom cabin. The staff was very friendly and... More
