We have been coming to this campground since it opened and it has been a great place to visit each and every time. Trains??? The kids love to 'see if they are on time', play at the pool, ride bikes, hike and explore. It is affordable and only 45 minutes away from the Portland area. WE LOVE CL KOA!!!! more

My husband and I planed a five day vacation to visit the Columbia River Gorge and one stop was the KOA Cascade Locks, which we never stayed at before. One mile before the campground our motorhome broke down and we were forced to change our plans and spend two days instead of one. Dawn and Kevin were so wonderful and... more

Cascade Locks really was very nice. The amount of trees was great, and there was a wonderful breeze off of the Columbia River. The 1 problem we had was the train.. lol we did not know that there was a freight train that would go by every 45 min.. 24/7. During the day it was not bothersome but trying to... more

My family and I stayed here for the Labor Day weekend. It was a last minute trip and this was the only thing available. I soon realized why. I read some of the review after we were booked, so I was warned about the trains. The trains go by very often. There seemed to be a break in the mornings... more

If you don't mind waking up 10 times a night jumping out of your bed and hiding from the oncoming train, this place was great. Nice, cozy, shady, needs more showers and TLC in the bathroom....did I mention the trains???? There are two RR crossings, one on each end of the park, that means 4 whistle blows for each one,... more

We picked this campground because we needed a reliable place to pitch our tents after a long drive, with 3 teenagers, from the California border. It was just a one night stay...and I'm glad about that. We were exhausted and arrived to a live band playing loudly on the porch of the office. Now I have nothing against live music,... more

Great service, nice environment. This was a two day stop for us while traveling the westcoast to Canada from California. It was great. We have 4 children. They could ride bikes, there were bike rentals, a pancake breakfast- lots of washers and dryers, a lot of space between campsites, a nice forest setting, close and easy access to a multitude... more

Cascade Locks camground was a wonderful place for a family reunion. It had something for the young and also the older people. There were interesting sites not far from the campground. Our group used 19 camp sites. Our organizers had done such a good job that everything went very smoothly. Also there were motels and cabins for people who didn't... more
