My spouse and I try and find motels that are run by what we call "mom and pop"places. I found this motel online and loved it from the minute I saw it. We stayed there 5 nights. There are a series of single cabins and some duplexes. My husband has been a school custodian (hater of pine needles and glitter)... More

When visiting Cascade Locks my companion and I stayed at the Cascade Motel recently. This is an older property fairly well maintained inside, outside not so much. Our room was clean, the carpet a bit stained maybe from recent rains. Mattresses very firm. There's a fridge and microwave but no coffee pot, no hair dryer, no breakfast. The bathroom is... More

Stayed in one of the split cottages. The Inn is away from the hub-hub of downtown Cascade Locks, such as it is, so no party crowd as they would have to drive back. It is further from the I-5 as the crow flies than the other motels so I got a great night's sleep with only the occasional train to... More

Cabin style rooms that are clean and comfortable. Some kitchenettes, some fireplaces and up to 3 bedrooms. Bare amenities but right in the waterfall site seeing area and cheaper than the competition. Helpful and friendly staff.

Stayed in cottage 8 which was actually 1 cottage that was divided in half. Ours had 1 bed without the kitchen, as that was all we needed. Everything looked freshly painted and neat and tidy. The bathroom was pristine white and would have shown dirt but it was spotless. The lovely lady at check in was so nice and informative.... More

What a wonderful little gem in the middle of the Columbia Gorge! Great for the family, or for a romantic get-a-way! Cute little cottages... CLEAN with all of the amenities one would want! Refrigerators, microwaves, etc... all the comforts of home! Close to swimming, boating, kite boarding, sailing, Pacific Crest Trail, restaurants, grocery/liquor store, Bridge of the Gods, Sternwheeler... and... More

I was swinging through Cascade Locks in July and needed a place to bed down for the night when I came across the Cascade Motel. It is a group of cottages off the main road. The woman at the front office was very nice. I was a walk in, with no reservation, but she was able to find me room... More

I stayed in unit 7, it is one house away from the office and I did not get signal at all. I have to walk close to the office, to use wifi. when asking the front desk, she claimed they did not have that problem before, and would not offer any help the unit is ok for that price.

Cascade Motel is a hidden gem. It is off the main road and therefore very quiet and peaceful. The little cottage we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. When in the area, we would definitely choose the Cascade Motel again.

We ended up in Cascade Locks because everything in Hood River was booked full. Our cottage was very roomy with a refrigerator and microwave. The curtains and bedspread were themed from the 50s, but the bathroom had been remodeled and everything was clean and bright. The lady who runs it was very nice and helpful. While Cascade Locks doesn't have... More
