They only book 2 day minimums by internet or phone ,but when we were there they were booking 1 day stays. Also not very clean and not very friendly at the front desk for our 3:00 check-in.Which did not happen until 3:45 The view was none existing, there are alot of places to stay and I would not recommend this place

The Sand Trap has a nice location and was relatively affordable. The Guest Room with Fireplace we stayed in was good-sized and had some nice touches - a flatscreen TV, newer artwork, and clean white linens on the bed. But unfortunately the two features that swayed me to book here were the most disappointing. The fireplace (electric/gas) did not work... More

I decided at the last minute to take a trip to Cannon Beach on Labor Day, I was worried that I wouldn't find a room but I call the Sand Trap Inn and was lucky to find 2 room available I asked the representative what room she would pick and she recommended room 6. It was perfect, it is small... More

The rate is inexpensive considering its location- walking distance to downtown and to the beach. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The bedroom is spacious but right above is the second floor's bathroom and you can literally hear them, flushing the toilet and all that specially at night! The kitchen has updated appliances. Flat screen tv in the bedroom... More

The Sand Trip Inn has two buildings, north and south, that are a couple of blocks apart. The south building #5 is a one bedroom front main floor unit with large windows, and a parking spot. New appliances in the full kitchen. LCD TV and DVD... they have a few movies in the office half a block north that you... More

We have been visiting Cannon Beach for 10years.We have checked out other places, but always stay at Sandtrap Inn. Close walk to downtown, one block from the beach.Rooms have all the amenities we could need.Like our second home. The folks in the office were very friendly. Can't wait to get back to the beach!

We came down to spend Canadian Thanksgiving on the North Oregon Coast and found Unit 2 Townhouse at the Sandtrap to be just fine for our three night stay. The Fall special deals are very good, the location fine and the unit clean and comfortable. We would have appreciated a kettle in the kitchen but a minor niggle.

Unit #10, "large 1-bedroom" should be called "humungous 1-bedroom"! The bedroom itself is small, but the rest of the space is immense, including living room, dining area and kitchen. The unit was spotless, comfortable, and worth the $125/night off-season rate. Our only complaint is that there seems to be NO insulation between units. The family downstairs slammed every door possible,... More

I have stayed in Cannon Beach many times and got a email promotion from the Sand Trap Inn. I had seen it before and decided to give it a try. When I made the call to reserve a room the staff was great and I ended up with a 2 story one bedroom townhouse. It was very clean and well... More
