This place captures the essence of the Oregon Coast like no other. Friendly, helpful staff, clean, and relatively new but very charming. They thought of everything and it shows. Look no further if you heading that direction.

My wife and I spent one night at the Ocean Lodge. We wish we were able to spend a week. We had a ground floor suite facing the beach with a grand view of Haystack Rock. The view couldn't have been more spectacular. A short walk along the beach took us to a group of tidal pools containing a variety... More

We began coming to Cannon Beach in early 1989. The previous motel on this property was the Major Motel. We stayed here until it was sold in 2001 to the current owners who transformed the property to the Lodge it is today. Choice rooms are 101-107. These open up to the lawn. 201-207 are up one story. All the massive... More

Our plans changed and we were arriving dinner time without reservations in this upscale beach town. i called several and Bonny on the telephone was so nice and accommodating that we went here first. As soon as we drove up we were impressed. She showed us several rooms and did everything possible to make us comfortable. The room had a... More

I have to be honest--a great, great location--nice staff--but...We have stayed here several times. The rooms need updating...showing wear. The breakfast never changes..adequate..but not much different from run of the mill chain motels. Honestly, for the price, there are other places better. You are paying for location mostly...and the location is spectacular if you are on the ocean-side...otherwise overlooking the parking... More

This place I'd cool. I always give low ratings for value because I think all hotels charge too much. We did get a reduced rate of $260 for the night we stayed here. We were greeted by very friendly and accommodating staff for our last minute stay. They had a room for us on the beach. Rooms are clean and... More

This was our first time to the Northwest. It was so beautiful and green, and the ocean unlike other ocean experiences We've had. My favorite time was sunrise with a little mist around haystack rock and the tide pools exposed due to low tide. Seeing all the colorful starfish and sea creatures was so fun. The Ocean Lodge was in... More

My husband and I have stayed in a few places here in our favorite place, Cannon Beach and the one we love the most is The Ocean Lodge. Nestled in a quaint and cozy residence with ocean front views and just a skip away from the fun little town of Cannon Beach. The Ocean Lodge delivers an outstanding service, beautiful... More

This was our fourth time at The Ocean Lodge. We stayed for a week. The room was on the top floor with a king bed. The room was gorgeous, perfectly clean and quiet. Of course there were stunning views. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. It just doesn't get any nicer at Cannon Beach. We will be back again.... More
