This property has a spectacular oceanfront location in Cannon Beach. Super convenient location to the village, shopping and restaurants. However, the actual accommodations are merely average and could do with some serious updating. The kitchen and bathrooms look like they are from the seventies. Comfy bed in spartan bedroom. Overall best place we've stayed in Cannon Beach. Gas fireplace, decent kitchen area, comfortable rooms that are oceanfront with great views, and just a short walk to the main shopping strip on Hemlock. Other hotels may be more luxurious, but they don't share Schooner's convenience. Also a friendly, helpful staff. more

Stayed one night at Schooners Cove recently as part of a trip from Seattle to San Francisco. Excellent accommodation in one of the nicest places we found on this coast. Fantastic spot for a sunset - genuinely "beachfront". Not the cheapest place we stayed, but well worth it. more
