The Flagship oceanfront rooms at The Waves are the only place we stay in Cannon Beach. We love the view of Ths ocean, Ecola Creek, and the relatively people-free beach. It's right downtown - with your reserved parking spot in busy CB - with stores, restaurants, and fun at your doorstop. The sunny yellow, newly redecorated rooms are a lovely... More

My wife and I have stayed here a few times in the last year. We stayed in room 207 both times. The room has a view of the ocean, the light house and some of the large rocks off Ecola State Park. Great morning view. The room itself is pretty big with a king-size bed, reading chair and small dining... More

We had a last minute decision of having our overnight at Cannon Beach. we get the chance to have the ocean view. Room is clean, good size and has fireplace and things we need for the night. Definitely recommend the place.

I'm so glad we stayed at The Waves! This place is by far the best if you want to just park your car and walk the town. Cannon Beach can get pretty crowded, so this place is the best for ocean views and closeness to shops. We had a big screen TV, fireplace, warmth, cozy bed, view of the ocean... More

Wonderful ocean getaway! Right in the heart of "old-town" Cannon Beach; very reminiscent of Nye Beach in Newport. Super beachy and rustic, but the rooms feel very modern and have beautiful natural lighting via skylights in the main room and the bathroom. Our bathroom was adorable with kitchy tiling. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Quite close to the beach and... More

We were in town just to get away for the weekend. We decided at the last minute on Friday and the place we usually stay was booked. So, we tried The Waves instead... $249 a night + tax. The five green bubbles tells it all...we'll be back again. Other reviewers have already explained the wonderful details of the White Heron... More

From checking in to checking out, all was made easy and pleasant for us. Very nice people run this group of motels. We stayed in the La Colina section of The Waves. Wish I could have taken the whole room home and made it my master bedroom. Beautifully done, very warm and cozy, clean and comfortable. Very close to the... More

We have stayed at The Waves many times iin our trips to Cannon Beach, but our hesitancy has always been the very unfriendly owner, so sometimes have stayed elsewhere. This time we met the new owners who are very friendly and helpful! We had a problem with wifi and he solved it for us in a positive way. This is... More

My mother passed away in August and as part of family tradition, 22 of us gathered at The Waves in mid-October for 2 nights to celebrate her legacy. The staff at TW could not have been more professional or accommodating. They worked with my dad in reserving rooms for everyone's crazy arrival times. The day of my mom's memorial service,... More

We decided to detour to Cannon Beach on our way home at the last minute. It was a busy weekend and we had a difficult time finding a hotel with a vacancy. Thankfully The Waves had a room for us. The staff was efficient and friendly with our last minute reservation. The location is ideal, in the middle of town... More

Thank you for the nice feedback and feel free to call us if you would like to know about the beds...we have sold a number of them (new of course) to guests over the years that had the same opinion you did. Hope to see you again at The Waves. Greg Swedenborg More
