One of the greatest hotels we have ever stayed at! The immense size and space allowed gives people the accomadations of splendor and space to escape by yourselves. An upscale kitchen and dining area allows for watching beautiful sunsets and storms. The deck was spacious and had coverings around it to keep the wind out. A wonderful table and barbeque... More

The perfect spot! In the heart of Cannon Beach and a few steps from the beach. The hotel owners were kind enough to pick me up from the bus stop and easily accomidated my needs when i decided to extend my stay. The room was a little warm but I also just happened to be there when it was unusually... More

We had the ideal location for our Cannon Beach stay. The Waves is very centrally located within a short half block of the Cannon Beach downtown area. Our unit (Flagship, 404) had a spectacular 180 degree view of the ocean and private access to the beach. The unit itself was very large and specious with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a... More

We selected The Wave based on Tripadvisor reviews. Indeed - it is a very nice "Motel" - which is kind of a misnomer, since it doesn't feel like ur average motel at all. It is conveniently located right on the beach, very quiet, and in walking distance of everything else. All rooms seem to have water views, even the ones... More

The Waves is the place to stay if you have not yet visited Cannon Beach. Location, location, location is clearly excellent with highest possible walking score to shops/restaurants/theatre in the town and is located on the north end of the beach which is not crowded. Walk south on the beach to The Haystack (15mins) and enjoy the fresh ocean breeze... More

This is the best place to stay in Cannon Beach. In the center of town, on the beach, and very comfortable. It's central location allows you to drive to it, walk everywhere, and not get in your car until it's time to leave. The room was cozy with a great king bed and thick, soft linens. The staff was wonderful... More

After finding out we had no camping options, my son and I opted for staying here. We had a nice deck, big room, fireplace and a partial view of the beach. Best thing about the location was that it is downtown and only a few steps from the beach. We were very late checking in but still had time for... More

The owner of the unit should be embarrassed to rent this deplorable unit out! It is dirty, dated and disgusting! There were stains on the bed spread, the knives were dull and had rust stains on them, the grill was dirty, gross and rusted and the entire unit smelled like cat urine despite the fact that we kept the windows... Stayed for the first time this weekend and we were very impressed with our stay. Room was equipped with everything we needed to make dinner. We loved the murphy bed for the kids and separate bedroom for the parents, the ocean view and the jacuzzi tub were great!!! Your rooms are definitely worth the price and we will be returning... More

My husband and I stayed at The Waves for a long weekend to celebrate an anniversary. The staff was polite and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was clean and spacious. We stayed in the Southwind King. There's a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, sink, dishes and silverware. It enabled us to just go a couple of blocks over... More
