This is the best place to stay in Cannon Beach. In the center of town, on the beach, and very comfortable. It's central location allows you to drive to it, walk everywhere, and not get in your car until it's time to leave. The room was cozy with a great king bed and thick, soft linens. The staff was wonderful... More

After finding out we had no camping options, my son and I opted for staying here. We had a nice deck, big room, fireplace and a partial view of the beach. Best thing about the location was that it is downtown and only a few steps from the beach. We were very late checking in but still had time for... More

The owner of the unit should be embarrassed to rent this deplorable unit out! It is dirty, dated and disgusting! There were stains on the bed spread, the knives were dull and had rust stains on them, the grill was dirty, gross and rusted and the entire unit smelled like cat urine despite the fact that we kept the windows... Stayed for the first time this weekend and we were very impressed with our stay. Room was equipped with everything we needed to make dinner. We loved the murphy bed for the kids and separate bedroom for the parents, the ocean view and the jacuzzi tub were great!!! Your rooms are definitely worth the price and we will be returning... More

My husband and I stayed at The Waves for a long weekend to celebrate an anniversary. The staff was polite and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was clean and spacious. We stayed in the Southwind King. There's a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, sink, dishes and silverware. It enabled us to just go a couple of blocks over... More

I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. Comfortable accommodations at the most convenient location. Great coffee shops nearby where we can grab our morning java and pastries for breakfast back in our suite. We rarely use our car as we can easily walk to anywhere.

Have been going to Cannon Beach for more than 40 years. For some reason we started staying at the hotels closer to Haystack and kind of forgot about The Waves. We decided to stay 'in town' and opted for The Waves Flagship ocean front rooms and couldn't have been happier w/ our decision. King studio is nicely updated and has... More

we usually request no room service - so we have our own little private space. we also really like having a separate bedroom from the cooking and 'lounging' area. The waves more than meet these requirements for us. Paula was delightful to work with and always pleasant at the desk. love the location - can park the car and walk... More

Our family has been sharing a vacation together with another family for over 20 years. We each have 3 (now) grown children and we share meals, games and outdoor family fun together. We have stayed at various places in the past, but none had the best overall accommodation, until we stayed at the Waves. At the Waves we found the... More
