We've been staying at the Sea Sprite for over 15 years, 10 of those annually. The Estuary property is a better choice for those who value walking access to downtown Cannon Beach. It's a longer walk to the ocean than the Tolvana property and has no barbeque facilities (although you can use those at Tolvana if you want to make... More

I rarely write reviews unless it is a disaster or amazing. This was amazing. My Kansas City family of 5 just made a 10 day trip down the coast from Seattle to San Francisco. I will start with the only moderately negative thing I can even think of to say. It was the most expensive place we stayed on our... More

Sometimes when you have stayed somewhere and had a great time on the first visit, the memory of the place you stayed can exceed the reality of the second visit. This was not the case for my wife and me. This time we stayed in one of the one bedroom places (room 23) on the second floor. The hotel was... More

This place was just what we needed after five days on the road. Beautiful view, great beach access, all the amenities we needed and a restaurant close by. We found it online as we drove up the coast from Florence and kept it bookmarked along with a few other places. We did look at the Sea Sprite at Haystack Rock... More

Once again the Sea Sprite lived up to our high standards. This time we were on the second floor, room 24, which faces both the ocean and where the river meets the ocean. As water dynamics is one of my favorite topics, watching the interaction during a high tide is an exciting event. The room was well-appointed and completely comfortable.... More

My husband and i stayed in the Puffin suite, rm. 23, for a weekend in December. The place has only 5 suites, and is modern and attractive, with gorgeous views of the estuary and ocean, located in a charming, rustic neighborhood on a dead-end street. We could walk to all the restaurants we were interested in. To get to Haystack... More

We have been staying here for years, since it was brand new and it's still our favorite splurge. There are less expensive places to stay in Cannon Beach but the peace and beauty here far outweighs any other place we've stayed before. Everything is light and bright, even in stormy weather thanks to decorating and soft soothing colors of the... More

My friend and I stayed here for two nights as part of a road trip. The stay was wonderful from start to finish. We were in the Osprey Suite which is ocean facing on the second floor. It had a bedroom with a king bed, a queen murthy bed in the sitting room, a large npathroom with jet tub and... More
