We stayed 4 nights in Spruce cabin with another couple. The cabin is nice for 2 and the most reasonably priced compared to the other 2 nearby resorts.....but........the loft bedroom was unsatisfactory. We brought along two small fans expecting we would need them in the summer heat but there are no electric outlets in the loft. Then main floor bedroom... More

From July 25 to July 31 2015 my sister, brother-in-law and myself stayed in the log cabin at Cold Springs Resort at Camp Sherman, Oregon. The cabin was rustic, quaint and clean, very clean and very, very comfortable. The view of the Metolius River was beautiful, the grounds of the resort well kept and management was friendly, helpful and very... More

Our family recently stayed with our lab puppy. When we checked in we were assessed $10 per day for our dog, and a $35 "refundable" pet fee. That is $65 total fees, but we were told if our dog didn't cause any damage and we cleaned up after him, the fee would be refunded. So we did just that. We... More

First off, I'll say that I'm not really a campground person -- I like my camping out in the woods with no other people around. BUT. I've been here a few times with my family, who ARE campground people, and it's really pretty nice. There are cabins (which we stayed in a couple of times over New Years, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)... More

My wife and I stayed at Cold Springs Resort the first time we went to Camp Sherman in our travel trailer. We loved the resort. It is absolutely beautiful. We decided to book 3 cabins and rv spot for a family reunion at the resort in August. We also reserved a rv spot for our anniversary next year. You won't... More

We stayed at RV site 12. This site had electric, water and sewer hookups. The electric hookup was only 50 amp, so we used our 50 to 30 amp adapter. The gravel parking pad was near level, but did require the use of our levelers. There was a picnic table and large grass area with fire pit. This is the... More

This is a wonderful local getaway. We live in Redmond so it is less than an hours drive from home. Cozy, accomodating cabins, friendly staff, beautiful views of the Metolius river. We were there last weekend in February so the local restaurants were closed. We had brought along food, coffee and beverages so it worked out great. The Camp Sherman... More

My husband and I have stayed here over the years. We have always stayed in one of he cabins and enjoyed the quiet, relaxing ambience. We bring our dogs and go on shopping sprees and hikes. Most meals we eat in, but we will eat dinner out one night, usually Black Butte Lodge. We always go in November/December so Kokanee... More

We stayed in the Alder cabin for 2 nights in the spring. The grounds are beautiful and the river is fantastic. There's a great footbridge that goes across the river, and you have access to a little market, which had almost anything you could want. It's a nice "base" for hiking and exploring. Our dog loved the open field next... More

We stumbled on this place by accident, without a reservation, and were very lucky to get into the Pine Cone cabin for one night. It was great with a well-equipped kitchen (except no ice and they don't have an ice machine at the office), living and dining areas, and a comfortable bed. There's a second bed in a loft but...
