We have driven by Crystal Crane Hot Springs twice and never stopped. Last weekend, it was cold, so we decided to go check it out.It is out there!! Twenty-seven miles from the small town of Burns, Oregon. Cost was just under $5.00 for day use access to the pond. The pond is shallow on the edges, about 8 feet deep in... More

This was my long-awaited first visit to SE Oregon, and the trip and the scenery and the hospitality did not disappoint. I can only speak for the rooms, and as many other reviews have already mentioned, your expectations must be realistic. This is a remote location. If you haven't been here before, it is quite a bit more remote than... More

We stayed 2 nights in our RV. We were in spot#1 so we had wifi, which was a plus certainly not a requirement. The hot springs and stars were the reason we stopped and will return as circumstances permit. The staff was just fine, explained all the services available, and we had a nice time.

This is the BEST place to stay EVER. You can tent, RV, they have cottages, and rooms. It's set on a very nice large mineral springs pond, 101°F all the time. The staff is friendly, the pond is amazing. pack up the car, bring the kids , or not. get in the RV or not just get here.....

My partner and I enjoy this spot very much. Its low-key and everyone staying is enjoys the natural pool. The staff seem nice. There are interesting birds around. This time there were 3 sets of baby ducks at all stages. Interestingly they would come over to the warm pool(from the pond). We stay in a cabin, although camping would be... More

We have been to this resort 3 times and have had a great time. The area has been had improvements every time. The natural pool is wonderful. We have taken our camper. We used the power once and the dry camping area twice. We haven't had any problems. It's a 20 minute drive south of Burns and the wind blows... More

Stayed for one night on way back from AZ with trailer. Reasonable rate. Only a few hookups. Power & water no dump. Tanker some fresh water as supplied water has sulphur taste & smell. Large outdoor fine gravel bottom pool was HOT the evening we pulled in but lovely the next morning. Great folks. Rustic but a work in progress.... More

I just returned from a wonderful 3 days at this hot springs. The wind blew heavy for two of the three days but, with the new hot tub bye the pool, it made it a wonderful time. I have to say the staff went way out there way while I was there and believe the last review was somewhat harsh.... More

We have stayed at the Crystal Crane cabins on numerous occasions while we purchased property in the area and have taken family and friends there when they have come to the area to visit. We have also purchased their "tub" cards in the past. I would recommend the facility but I would also caution visitors not to expect the most... More

Crystal Crane Hot Springs is remote and isolated, although a local old-timer argued with my classification. "We're not remote--we're just in between." Crystal Crane is a few miles from Crane, OR (which has the last public boarding school) 28 miles south of Burns. That translates to 2.5 hours east of Bend, 3.5 hours south of Baker City. Do yourself a... More
