This is a great place if you are comfortable with rustic back woods lodging. The 24 hour soaking pool offers unmatchable stargazing. They have however soiled their reputation by allowing the Bundy militia to use the Hot Springs to spread their message of armed insurrection. The Bundys spoke out against the Malheur refuge and endangered species. After public backlash Crystal... More

Stayed there in 2015 when it was crisp nights. The hot springs was just warm enough if one stayed by the water inlet. The room we stayed in had no bathroom, so it was a hundred feet or so across the gravel to use it in the night. Cheap, but not so convenient. Would have been 3 star except they... More

After staying in Burns just because, we were told we couldn't miss out on Crystal Cranes and I'm pretty glad to have gone!! It was nice to soak in cold weather. It was too cold (for me) to go to the outdoor pond but it looked awesome. We got a private tank that was toooo hot until we started running... More

Let me start by saying, I am willing to bet money that anyone who has given this place a bad review is a yuppie indoor type of folk. Our visit at Crystal Crane hot springs was an incredible little get away. Upon arriving the night of the 14th, we were greeted by the friendliest little camp host Mandy! She was... More

We discovered this place last year when we were looking for a place to stay near Malheur National wildlife Refuge. That time we stayed in Sage Inn, which was good, but you have to walk some hundred yards to everything (the pool, bathrooms, kitchen). But we enjoyed the hot pool and decided to come back this year, while visiting Malheur... More

What a disappointment. The pond is cold. The lady that works there said a pump is not working. Too bad this great place is getting broken down. I didn't travel hundreds of miles for a soak in a lukewarm pond. Hopefully this will be fixed. Next time I'll make sure to inquire about the water temperature before committing to coming... More

If your a ln uptight city slicker this might not be for you. What they have on the website is what you get a d it's awesome. The hotspring is amazing and hot and the staff were wonderful. The only reason I am giving this a 3 star review is because the furniture in the upstairs apartment needs and update.

We stayed one night last weekend and had a great time. Beautiful landscape and so peaceful. Nice cabins with comfortable bed. Nice private tubs and very reasonably priced. We are going back for New Years.

This is a no frills hot springs where you can hook up your RV or stay in a small cabin or even a big teepee. The water is absolutely heaven at 101 degrees. I dont know what is in the water but I have never felt so relaxed. My husband and I went out at night with every star in... More

We stayed in our own travel unit. We used the private soak tubs. Just wonderful for $7.50 an hour. No one including myself seemed to track your time! Stayed 2 nights instead of the intended one night. So we liked something! Nice staff. Like other's have said it is not the Ritz Carlton. But not everyone is looking for that.... More
