We travel the coast of Oregon yearly and always end our Oregon stay at South Coast. As always Michael is always there to meet and greet all...weather new or returning. It is always delightful and breakfast, cooked by Michael is always delicious. Most talk about the beautiful beaches, but if you are a golfer there is a wonderful golf course... More

Not knowing much about the town of Bookings in general, my wife and I were very fortunate to have found the South Coast Inn Bed and Breakfast with the help of Trip Advisor before making our journey down the Oregon and California coasts late last summer. On our arrival, we were greeted at the front door by the innkeeper, who... More

Michael greeted us at the front door as we pulled up in the car and set the tone for a delightful night's stay at his lovely B&B. We were the only ones staying that night and basically had the run of the beautiful house and garden. Michael made sure we were settled, pointed us towards the stunning Art Alley Grille... More

We stayed for 3 nights and felt welcome and comfortable. the exterior of the house, filled with plants and flowers is lovely. There is a real sense of history here and the owner really cares about the house and its care. Our only slight complaint was the breakfasts were less than expected.

We stayed at South Coast twice, most recently in May '13. It's a comfortable, clean house with a friendly family who do make sure you have what you need and feel welcome. Rooms are good sized, beds fresh and comfy. I'll be glad to come back again.

This being our first B And B we were a little skeptical at the concept. But the communication via e-mail had put our mind at ease. Michael greeted us in the kitchen with a glass of wine and friendly smile that made us feel like we were visiting family. The room was clean cozy and private. The bathroom had all the... More

Nice quiet location, clean room with really neat old furniture, We stayed in the Rose Room. However we didn't like having to go across the hall to get to our bathroom. Shower curtain around clawfoot tub made shower controls hard to get to. (Maybe other rooms have different arrangements. Pleasant host- checked on restaurant for us to eat at when we... More

My husband and I stayed here on our way to visit the Redwoods. We were met by Michael who gave us a quick tour and got us settled into our room. The house is a beautifully restored craftsman with lovely antique furniture. Not a speck of dust anywhere. After our drive, we were tired so we seated ourselves on the... More

We stayed in the Angel room, and it was perfect for a quick night in Brookings on the way to see the Redwoods. Small - but absolutely comfortable, clean, and relaxing. We ate at the Vista Pub and enjoyed the good beer and burgers - and lunch at Art Alley Grill was awesome. Breakfast at the b&b was intimate and... More

We recently stayed Mid August (2013) at the South Coast Inn B&B in Brookings for a night, as a stop over between the southern coast of Oregon and our drive east towards the Ashland Shakespeare festival. We stayed in the comfortably and roomy Maybeck Room, ground floor, great decor, wonderful private outdoor patio, great King size bed! Michael Clines, his... More
