Never been in the area before and needed an overnight place en route. Studied various online possibilities and the AAA listings. Had a few in mind but decided to drive the 'strip' through Brookings and pick the one that looked most appealing without spending a kazillion dollars just to sleep somewhere. Picked this one and wasn't disappointed. Clean, comfortable, basic... More

This was a one-night stop over and it did the job for that purpose. The room was clean and confortable enough (although not super comfortable). The pool was nicely heated, but in need of some cosmetic repairs. The free breakfast was at the restaurant next door and it was a small version of a real breakfast. It was okay, but... More

I booked this hotel winning a bid on Priceline for $72, a little better than the rack rate of $95. I wasn't expecting much based on the reviews. They should really drop the "resort" tag from the name. This is nothing more than a motel. It served its purpose for one night. The staff was helpful checking in and recommended... More

The room was a fair size and the bed was comfy. The free breakfast in the restaurant on the property was good. It was nice to be able to have options to choose from. Front desk staff was very helpful. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked very nice. Will stay again if we are ever... More

Just needed a stop over on the way to San Fran. Traveling with a party of nine, six children. This place was a surprise, the rooms were clean and comfortable, a pool and simple yet adequate breakfast were welcomed. If you are not spending too much time in town, this is perfect.

We were just looking for a place to stay, low expectations. We got a huge room, nothing fancy, but spacious, clean and quiet with a refrigerator. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice. The free breakfast was cooked to order, more than I could eat and came with endless coffee. A few blocks away is a beautiful park along the... More

The first night wasn't bad for the price. The pool was nice. The breakfast simple but good. When we checked in, I asked about the possibility of staying an extra night. They said no problem just let us know in the morning. I called the desk at 8am (12 hours after we checked in) and they said that the room... More

I travel a lot in my work. Most places are simply O.K. with an average price. I found this place to be one of the best I've ever been. The price was right. The rooms clean. It has a pool and hot tub and a good real!! breakfast in the morning that came with the price. Tawny at the desk... More

What I particularly liked is that they gave us meal tickets for our breakfast to use at the restaurant that shared the lot. The breakfast was very good with generous portions and the tickets were included in the price of the room. Very convenient.

I had looked online before our coastal trip to see what was availiable in Brookings. The places that I had found were already booked and I wasn't aware that it was a baseball tournament that caused it to be difficult to locate a place for us to spend the night. We ended up stuck in a smoking room with our... More
