Thank you to the folks at Whaleshead Beach Resort!!! We had a great stay. Out of town but not to far, clean, comfortable, and most of all quiet. Loved the set up and had a very good time in the Brookings area.

We just stayed for two nights and the cabin was amazing. Perfect for the 5 of us and a very reasonable price. Front office was very helpful with anything we needed. View of the ocean was a little distant but still spectacular. We will be back!!

So we stayed at the cabin U24 CHECKED IN 06/24/2014 CHECKED OUT 06/26. My wife acquired 70 bed bugs, and my daughter 30 bed bug bites from the loft beds. The reaction to the bites was not immediate, and if you research bed bugs you will see it can be a few hours to several days before the symptoms and... More

You just have to love this. Wife and daughter slept in the loft beds and after their stay the reviewer counted each and every one of the 'bites'. It is obvious that this reviewer read an older complaint about bed bugs and decided to run with it. He even went so far as to look up the mating cycle of... More

we had a family reunion for two weeks in unit 21. they were 3 tvs, only one worked. The place had food and muck down the walls in the kitchen. The first night barbecuing burnt my dinner. I spent 45 minutes cleaning it the next day. This was a family reunion and a vacation! Everyone had to shower in the annex... More

Really do not understand some reviews and this is one of them. Prior to this party checking in, this cabin was given a 'deep clean' so I really don't know where the food and muck came from. Did a child spill something that didn't get cleaned up?? (Child doesn't have to be a minor) You burned your dinner on the... More

We came to Whaleshead for our honeymoon, and absolutely enjoyed our stay. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in cabin I-1, and will definitely book again when we're in Brookings next. Having a full kitchen was wonderful, and the hot tub was great to relax in after being out on the beach all day. There is also... More

Small cabin with a loft was perfect for a family of four. The cabins are smaller and a bit rustic, but it is a cabin and not a hotel so our expectations were met. You can't beat the views, location, hot tub and having a full kitchen. Front desk was very nice.

I absolutely love staying in park model lodging....much more than hotels so I really wanted to be delighted with this place. The best part of this place is the privacy....yes there are a lot of units and they are close together but you still have a sense of peace and privacy. Nice walking areas and trails - tunnel is a... We had a great time renting one of their cabins that had a jacuzzi on the large deck that had views of the ocean and forests. The cabin was roomy and warm and had a nice little kitchen. We really enjoyed listening to music on their sound system.

This is always a dependable getaway. Close enough to the Rogue Valley, yet far enough away to get away. The views out over the Pacific are magnificent, especially from the hot tub! The beach access is just minutes away.

I had called to reserve cabin U21 ( which was already booked) and they recommended cabin U8. I explained that we were a party of 6 and had three men over 6 feet tall. I was told it was 3 queen beds one in the bedroom 2 in the loft. as well as the foldout sleeper sofa. the reality was... More

This review is a total fabrication. In the first place this reviewer was part of a large party that booked and stayed in cabin #U-21. This party also booked and stayed in cabin #U-8. The entire party stayed for a total of 6 days. Cabin #U-21 has 2 Queen beds downstairs and 2 queen mattresses upstairs. This cabin also has... More
