Cabin OV6 Dirty and out-dated. Crumbs in drawers, tears in furniture, holes in every wall, carpet was dirty/torn, worn out toilet seat. Pet friendly, NOT people friendly!! Stayed 15 minutes. Checked out with refund. Would not recommend this unit! We have stayed here before years ago; higher up the hill & it was great!

Our family had wanted to stay here for a long time. We finally did and found the bathroom dirty. We bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it ourselves , before we could use it. The couch was dirty and smelled. Wifi didn't work. We did try to call the office but it was closed and phone had no answer, so we... More

Price is good compared to a lot of other cabin rentals. However the staff simply sucks. When we checked in our bed had hair in it. The heater in the cabin was worthless and we had to get some space heaters. the lady's at the front desk were cold. One younger gal was polite but the other two were old... More

During my stay there was a smell coming from the lower end of the rv park that smelled like human waste. One of my family members got very sick while walking in the creek down by the beach. Also one of the workers was very rude and showed up at our door late a night to yell at us. And... More

1st stay and really enjoyed it. Beautiful location in walking distance to a beautiful beach. Stayed in OV-10. It has a queen bed and futon couch along with just about everything you need. Just bring clothes and groceries. Has a covered hot tub too!

I've stayed 3 times now. 1 time in s1 and twice for s2. Both that are on the very top hill. This place and those 2 cabins are AMAZING. Never had any problems with anything. I cannot wait to go back next week. It's like a mini vacation. The private hot tub on deck is what brings me back. Very... More

Being from the area I've always wanted to try it out. It was ok for a one or two night stay, which is what we did. One night. We were in B-7, it was an older one towards the bottom of the hill. It was my husband and I. It needs a little attention as far as more detailed cleaning... More

Our cabin is not good! Bathroom shower is filthy (they don't provide any cleaning products) I wear flip-flops when I shower; outdoor furniture is rusty and broken down; when I turned the oven on it was so dirty that it smoked so much the smoke detector went off; the portion between the leaf of the table and the table was... I will never understand why people like this bother to leave their home. Once they get to their destination, the complaints begin. Unfortunately, these types of people never come to the office with their complaints. Instead they enjoy their stay and then rip the company with bogus claims hoping they can get a reduced rate. Just once we would like... More

We just go back from celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary at the Whaleshead "Resort". We have been a Whaleshead fan and customer for the last 10 years but it is very obvious that this place is being mismanaged. Our unit, U25 had a disgusting smell to it when I walked in on Friday August 22nd. It was the smell of... More

Now that I have had some time to cool off I will respond to this reviewer. This person apparently is someone that is comfortable with staying in unsuitable conditions for the pleasure of trashing a person or property. U-25 was cleaned 2 days prior to her arriving and at that time there was no smell in the cabin. Now we... More

Our stay was amazing! We stayed in I-12 and I loved it. I don't understand how anyone could have a bad stay here. The view was absolutely incredible and it was so nice and quiet the whole time. The bedroom was pretty small but that is really to be expected in something that is pretty much a mobile home. There... More
