“Poor Service and don't count on smoke free rooms”

My wife and I went to the Riverhouse for the weekend. It seemed like a great location, near town and on the Deschuttes river. They offered us a complimentary drink voucher, but it took 45 minutes to get our beverages at the lounge. They have a nice breakfast buffet in the morning, though no one greeted us. “Great Location, Friendly Staff and Awesome Convention Center”

I had a great couple of nights here. It was a business trip with rooms blocked out. I wasn't happy with a 'no view of river' accommodation and called the hotel to ask if that could be changed. “River view is wonderful.”

Friendly checking, but clerk was a bit confusing about rate. River view was wonderful, we slept with back door open/screen closed to listen to it. Room service was based out of the restaurant and shut down at 9PM.

“Can be noisy”

Lots of kids' teams seem to stay here, so depending on your neighbors it can be noisy. Parking can be a little dicey when the hotel is full. Not a bad place to stay, though. Rooms next to the river offer a view.
