Stayed one night here in bend and this motel is nicely located along the river... its a gated motel, need key to access parking area and rooms.. beautiful view from our room of the river.. the staff seemed nice.... they didn't really offer any kind of info regarding anything outside of the motel... the pool was an indoor pool, but... We had a second floor room that faced the river. It was super to sit on the balcony and see the river rapids and listen to the water. As others have said, the room was pretty old. The shower hit my husband about shoulder-high. The furnishings were outdated--old satiny bedspread and drapes. But the evening was chilly and we enjoyed... More

Older block design with several stand alone blocks that have 3 levels with out facing balconies making quite a large motel overall. Although some are saying the distance to downtown is too far to walk it depends on your fitness level. I did it in about 12 minutes, also there aren't many other options in this bracket any closer. The... More

We stayed here for 4 nights with our dogs. We had a very nice rive view from our room, but the room was very outdated and was not very clean. We moved to different room at the very end of the property on the last night, and it was a little bit better with some updates. It was about 15~20... More

Have stayed at this hotel for many years and the location and facilities meet the travelers' needs. The rooms have been updated over the years, but the rest of the hotel is in need of a face lift. With a coat of paint and new carpet, especially in the halls, this hotel could once again be one of the best... More

Disappointed and found this place to be a bit pricey for what you got. The rooms where average and need updating. They were fairly clean. Don't think I would stay here again for this kind of money. Too far from downtown.

We had a 3rd story room overlooking the parking lot. No elevator so had to lug everything up 3 flights of stairs. The room doors were open to the outside (covered, but kind of different). You would think this would keep a fresh, outdoorsy feeling but the scent of pee was so overpowering we never did smell anything else. Do... More

OK, the place is old and needs updating, but get a room overlooking the river (rapids at a dam) and all that fades into the distance! What a fantastic location. There are walks next to the river and thru a park.... and chairs on the patio/balcony to enjoy the view. At night open up the sliding door a little and... More

great location in walking distance from downtown, but the place comes across dreary and needs an update. Cleanliness was not an issue, just overall wear and tear. Won't be back unless I see evidence of a renovation. Advertising the river is a nice touch. But my room overlooked the parking lot.

Last minute check-in after traveling for a few hours. Nice room, very cozy with a great view of the Deschutes River. Comfy beds with fluffy pillows. Hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was awesome - full hot breakfast with eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, etc. (included in the price). I would definitely stay at this hotel again!
