I was looking forward to staying at this motel on the river. But beware, if you don't have a riverfront room, it is a dismal experience. A view of the parking lot and maintenance buildings. Noise from the adjoining room, the room above and the room below. Terrible wifi connection, which goes in and out continually. Two visits to the... More

Our room was separated from the next room by a door and the people next door stayed up talking until late. You could here every word of their conversations. It was impossible to sleep. The wifi password was not working and front desk just kept telling us the password and saying it was working on their laptop. We tried multiple... More

Lucked out getting a studio overlooking the river during a very busy weekend. The river view room with large balcony gave me that escape from the hustle-bustle of the festival and typical road noise, plus had a kitchen and never heard other guests. Bonus is the secure entry, swimming pool and walking path along the river. Definitely would stay here... More

This is not a usual hotel/motel. It is an old motel turned to condos. There are units that are for rent that are typical motel style and units that have kitchenettes. It is a gated facility, has an indoor pool. There are no elevators and the regular (cheaper) units are on the 2nd floor. So if you are disabled and... More

This hotel is right on the Deschutes river -- in fact, you can get rooms with balconies overlooking it! It is on the river walk and a long-ish walk to town. It is also pet-friendly, which I thought was a plus. Our room did not have a mini-fridge which was a disappointment. It was clean, no frills, and inexpensive (~$100/night... More

Really enjoyed staying here. Took the advise of others and asked for a room facing the river with a balcony and kitchenette. Although room was older it was ver clean and comfortable. One night the shower temperature was cool. Might be a problem in the winter. Rest of the nights were good. plan to recommend this place to others and... More

I am told that each unit is individually owned. If this is the case make sure that you stay away from unit 213. No hot water, the pull out sofa has a 1/4 mattress topper as a mattress, the carpet is torn, the upstairs balcony has an air conditioner that leaks onto the room's balcony making it all but unusable.... I am very sorry you were unhappy with room 213. Please on your next visit talk to me or email me and I will upgrade you to a room you will like better. All guests have different views of the same Hotel or in some cases the same room. The next guest that sent in a review that was very... More

I came for a business trip. The room was set up nicely. Bed was extra soft and heavy bedding with lots of pillows. Bathroom was small and had no fan. Room had high moisture after the first shower and I could not get the room cooled down. Staff was nice but breakfast was nothing special. Wifi signals were strong which... More

My partner had fond memories of this place and booked it for us, but I won't come back. Great views of the river but too far from downtown; rooms are dated and worn. No good reading lights next to our Murphy bed. No fresh pastry in main office, just packaged (go to La Magie bakery instead). Lots of units have... More
