It took us 20 minutes to check in and the service was below average. When went to checkout and it took us 45 minutes! The staff had no idea what they were doing and everyone had been double charged for Saturday night. It wasn't until another employee started work that they were able to figure it out. The employees were... More

We stayed at this site 3 years ago and were excited to relive a wonderful experience. Oops, Not! The desk staff were clueless. Not only did they have no information about local tourism, They put us in a room that reeked of possibly pet waste, not sure. Then they switched us to a handicapped room on the third floor that... this hotel is overpriced. the room is clean but the place is need of updating. We have a lovely hole in the wall in our room.It is slightly better than motel 6. would be ok if it was about $20 cheaper.

This hotel looks nice as you drive up. We were in town for a swim meet and our team had a reserved a block of rooms at the Sugarloaf. We checked in around 9pm but it took a member of our team 1 hour & 45 minutes to check in. The most senior staff member was working alone that night... More

This hotel looks very nice as you drive up. Even the entrance is fine. Usually we stay at a 3 or 4 star hotel & we found this hotel to be a letdown. We don't expect the same standards but this hotel was lower than expectations. Possibly the hotel attracts a crowd that doesn't respect the property of others. The... More

My husband and I went to Bend for the weekend to do some exploring. Since we were coming to see what the area was about, we opted for the Sugarloaf based on location, price, and excellent reviews and that it is a dog friendly hotel. We arrived late, around 10:30 pm to a very flustered front desk girl who made... More

We made a capricious decision to go to Bend on our way home and needed a room. Picked the Sugarloaf based on reviews. Very pleasant surprise. All we wanted was a clean and quiet room at a reasonable rate and that is what we got. Cheery lobby, breakfast was good. Room was plain and simple but we didn't come for... More

This was a awesome motel, great for us! AC worked great :) (it was hot when we visited) the breakfast was amazing and the price was so much more affordable compared to the rest of the Motels in the area! Plus beds were super comfy.

A very large hotel. Room mix-up to start off but was fixed. Disappointed that second room had no refrigerator which we could have used. Room was clean on third floor. Only one very well used elevator so had to carry bags up. Nice room and a good value for Bend. Would stay here again but would be certain the room... More
