Two stars is what we were aiming for. We read the past reviews. We found the motel clean enough and the price "OK" given the high season in a tourist town. However, they did not have the room that was assigned at the time of reservation so they moved us to a dual queen bed room vs. a single queen... More

Limited choices were available in Bend on a late Saturday night of the recent Labor Day weekend. Basically Bend was sold out. Hotwire had 1 available hotel for $274. A little high for my budget. I went to another website, Hotels.com and they showed 3 options, one and two star properties, all about the same cost. The Rainbow Motel was... More

It was pricy when we were there.. But it was one of the only rooms available. Rooms were remodeled.( the back section) grounds were nice.. Parking was full... Walgreen's opening up in Sept.2014 at the corner.. Service was okay...but office smells like Curry.... Rooms don't! I would stay again...

The motel was clean on the outside with flowers by each room. However, the room was a joke. The air conditioner unit was so dirty & dusty inside that we were afraid we'd catch some disease if we left it on overnight. Two queen beds were squeezed into the room with barely 15 inches of walking space around them. The... More

Clean and comfortable room, secured entrance. Our room was at the 2 level building at the back of the motel. However, there is no laundry service in the motel itself, there is one 2 blocks away, however it close rather early. There is actually no real breakfast, there was actually some coffee and bread you can grab and go that... More

In agreement with most of the reviews here. Pros: In a very expensive town for lodging, this is a budget accommodation that exceeds many if its ilk. Our room was clean and well maintained - no stains or cig burns or scratches on the wall or anything like that. Our room was in the 2 story annex in the back... More

This is a place that you never want to stay. The sign says clean and wifi. That is not correct. The room was dirty, the sheets were dirty and there was no wifi. If you have a look at the local court reports, the Rainbow is the center of crime in Bend. We paid USD 166.50 for a night! DO... More

If you tend to stay in Motel 6, or in other budget motels when you travel, stay here instead. It's clean, the rooms are bigger, and they provide the amenities the budget chains don't: a microwave, a mini-fridge, a coffee-maker, HBO and a hair dryer. The proprietors are helpful -- they steered us to a good Mexican restaurant -- and... More

We experienced a pleasant one night stay at Rainbow Motel. It offered everything you generally expect (clean, everything working, secure entrance etc) and both people who I interacted with in the office were very friendly. The location was good - we wandered over to Silver Moon Brewery for dinner and drinks and would definitely recommend it! We also liked all... More

The owners (I think that's who was working in the office) were most gracious. We had a room in the newer annex of the building. Beware that there is NO ELEVATOR in this hotel although it has 2 floors; that wasn't a problem for us. The room was large enough and clean. It had all we wanted and needed for... More
