I hitch hiked into Bend from the Pacific Crest Trail on a cold rainy day with a friend. Carol took us very smelly and dirty hikers in, gave us a place to hang, wash and dry our wet and dirty gear, and gave us the virtual tour of the town with 100% fantastic recommendations. The included breakfast was amazing and... more

We have never stayed in a B&B and we were very pleased. My husband, adult daughter and I were in for one night in Bend and found it on line. The location is great to walk to down town. The house is fun, homey, eclectic and full of charm. We had room #7 with a bath. Comfortable, colorful and cozy.... more

Found the Mill House Inn on the internet and it did not disappoint us. Carol, the Inn Keeper/owner, was very gracious and friendly. Generously handed us helpful maps and travel brochures upon our check in. Downtown Bend is just a short walk, where one can find numerous restaurants and micro breweries.Breakfast was delicious- the whole grain waffles are house specialty.... more

The Mill Inn was great. The room was fair to good and had it's own bathroom. (Not all the rooms have them.) The old mill rooming house is very ecclectic. It's owner, Carol is originally from Brooklyn, NY and you can see her unique tastes throughout the B&B. We felt right at home here. Carol, the proprietor is a friendly... more

We had the best time at this B&B: the location is very good, in the hip Old Mill district, and easy to access from the highway. Our king size bed was heavenly and the room and bathroom brand new and very nice. I was surprised to find a deluxe jacuzzi on the patio for the guests to use and free... more

Tony is long gone. The new owner is not near as competent or pleasant. Not a family friendly place. No yard or any greenery, due to the street being 5 feet from the building and a parking lot dominating the rest of the lot. 10 rooms total, with one couch and one love seat at the total of all areas... more

Would you, perhaps, be looking for a place to stay in Bend that is a six-block walk from the center of town, will provide you a clean and comfortable room, some soft couches to relax on on after an energetic day, a sumptuous breakfast served on a spiffy white table cloth, a congenial atmosphere and that is, in short, affordable?... more

Just got back from a great trip to Bend. The Mill Inn really made the trip special. The place has tons of character and is perfectly located. It's got a little bit of chic and lot of coziness at the same time. Very moderate prices. The owner (carol) and the staff have mastered the art of hosting - - they... more

My family spent four nights at the Mill Inn B&B in Bend Oregon in March 2005. We Travel to the Bend area at least 2 times per year to enjoy the wonderful skiing at nearby Mt Bachelor. This time was no different. We had an enjoyable time at the ski resort, but our accomidations left much to be desired. The... more
