While winding my way though the west on a 10 day motorcycle tour, I saw the good, the bad, and the ugly of the old school motels. While in the cities I am a Kimpton devote, no such choices exist in many of the places I visited. After a long day in the saddle the requirements were pretty simple. CLEAN,... More

Clean room, super comfy king bed, large bathroom, flat screen tv and fridge, all for under $100. ( summer rate!). I've stayed all over Bend as a frequent visitor; this is the best economical place to stay.

We just got back from a four day trip to Bend, where we stayed at the Cascade Lodge. If you go in with the expectations that you're going to a fancy, high end resort, you will be disappointed. However, keeping that in mind, we were quite happy with the place. We stayed in one of the queen spa suites. It... More

This property was undergoing some major room renovations during our stay. The management is really trying to keep their accommodations up-to-date. The rooms are enormous, much larger than we expected. The free breakfast is a bit Spartan but adequate if you just want a muffin and a coffee. WIFI was slow and spotty.

Many months in advance, we made reservations by phone directly to the motel. Received a confirmation number by phone, but no confirmation was delivered by email. Didn't matter. Day prior to our arrival, we got a phone call stating they overbooked but "we will take care of you". Upon arrival, they upgraded us to a newly remodeled (decent, but not... More

Very nice little hotel, upon arrival we were offered a great deal to upgrade to a suite, it had a separate bedroom with jetted tub, couch and TV area, dining room table and kitchen. Spotless and very well kept. Awesome home away from home, plenty of room to relax. Would be extremely comfortable for extended stay. Recent interior renovations and... More

We stayed only one night, but our room was clean and well maintained. Yes, the lighting is not that very bright and the free wi-fi is very slow. The "Free Breakfast" is a very small selection of small (but fresh) muffins and bagels, some cereals, fresh fruit, and coffee. There are only two small tables with two chairs each to... More

I arrived at the motel at 315pm, after driving with four kids, including a 4month old, from Colorado Springs. We reserved the room along with my parents the first of july for a family reunion. When I got there, the lady at the front dest said she had given our room away. She stated she had called my mother the... More

We Had planned on staying 2 nights since we got a rate of $70 night for a room for 2 people. We only stayed one night. The only positive thing I can say is that the room was clean. However, the room is very small and extremely dark and dreary. They must have 25 watt bulbs in their lamps. The... More

We are a family with young kids and stayed at this motel for three nights in June. We got a little suite with a living room, kitchenette with sink, microwave and mini fridge and a bedroom. It was remodeled and very clean and had a nice smell when we came to it. Everything on the grounds of the motel was... More
