THINK AGAIN BEFORE CAMPING AT CRANE PRAIRIE RESORT!! This was my first time ever going to Crane Prairie and I was very excited until I got there. I am very much an avid camper (born and raised in Oregon) and I have camped at MANY campgrounds in this beautiful state and this is by far thee worst experience I have... More

I can not rate this dump low enough! The owner, Pat ,is the biggest jerk you've ever met. He's more interested in his power trip and starting fights than he is in running a clean comfortable resort. He will literally antagonize, provoke and challenge you over some silly matter then threaten to call the police. For us it was that... More

We made a reservation for a rustic cabin. The description should be rustic shack there were holes in the walls a 2 inch hole in the door. The beds are on springs (NO BOX SPRINGS) just a mattress on top. The bedding was so stained that it might of been clean but looked absolutely discussing. The floors are dirty barn... More

My family rented 5 spaces, Wed- Sun, over a non holiday, RAINY weekend for $20 a night giving these people over $500 for camping and we were treated like we were outlaws. Part of our group sucked it up and paid for showers (expensive) and those that refused to pay for water took their showers in what felt like snow... More

I think these people are annoyed they have to put up with people camping at this resort We showed up for a family gathering and by mid-day on the first day of everyone being there, they had come over 2x to tell us where we should park and put tents - and it happened to be right where everything was.... We were nervous about getting a camp site for the busy 4th of July weekend on short notice, so called the 'Crane Prarie Resort' to see if they had any sites available and made a (non-refundable) reservation for three nights ($20/night). We were told the resort has showers and flush toilets, electricity and water in every site, large treed tent... More

For starters it costs 30$ a night "for what"? there were no bathrooms in the campsite area. You have to PAY a 1.50$ in courters for a 3 min. Shower. The camp sites are way to close together, I was appalled by the shower ordeal. I have camped at many sites in Oregon and not one costs this much a... More

The owners are the rudest ever. After watering down my dusty campsite the owner (Pat) told me that I couldnt use the water for that reason. After reminding him that I only used the water for 5 min he got very aggresive with me and attempted to get violent with me in front of my 4 kids. I realy could... More

It is too bad that such a beautiful place is soured by the rude owners of the resort. If the forest service campground isn't open then I would just go somewhere else. These people treat thier customers so rudely, instead of welcoming them as guests. I just don't get why they have to be so nasty to people. Just very... More

Rate it at a "0" out of ten If I could rate it lower I would. We arrived fri 8/10 late afternoon as my wife, mother in law and myself walked in we went up to the counter and the owner was helping a oriental family who were obvious tourists. There was a language barrier and the owner seemed put... More
