The website makes the cabins look much larger and nicer than they really are. Unless you don't mind rustic, run-down and dirty, and expensive for what you get, find someplace else to stay in the beautiful Cascade Lakes area.

My husband and I have been coming to the South Twin Resort cabins over the Memorial Day week-end for 31 years. We had a terrible incident during this year (2014). We ran a tab at the store and upon checkout they charged us for $58 of groceries but did not have any list of the items or charges - just... More

Just returned from a 2-night stay in Cabin 3 at Twin Lakes Resort, on South Twin Lake. This place was fantastic! Staff was great, the cabin was large, clean and well-maintained. The cabins are all lakefront, so great views and plenty of room for our dog and 3 boys, ages 9, 7 and 3.5. Awesome deck and large, flat fire-pit... More

We didn't camp here, so this review is garnered from a couple of day visits. We were camping at Crane Prairie Resort and the fishing was bad so we came here. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The main resort are was neat and tidy and the place was bustling with campers/visitors. No motorized craft are allowed on... More

This campground was terrible for our toddler. There is not a blade of grass within 20 miles of this place. It is isolated and far from everything. The bathrooms were dirty and cleaned about every three to four days. Garbage was overflowing and there was no hand soap. We had three cold showers. When you pay $2 for a shower... More

My husband and I stayed at this park and it's really nice to have the lake and the Deschutes channel right there. We had a great time mountain biking, fishing, and kayaking there but be warned...don't plan on doing laundry there. Their laundry facility is horrible and 2 of the 3 washers didn't work (one only worked on warm and... More

We have been to Twin Lakes Resort many times during the last three years and can't think of another place we would like to be. First of all, the staff is very friendly, helpful and accomodating. It's like a home away from home. The food in the restaurant is incredible, they offer daily and weekly specials that are out of... More

It was a rough trip in October of 2007 when we ended up at Twin Lakes Resort for 1 night. I'd been feeling poorly, we'd been rained and snowed on for days, and we really needed a place to sleep without tenting it for a night. Upon the recommendation of another resort run by the same family further north we... More
